    Thank you for taking the time to make these videos of the 3039R! It's great to see how easy it is to take off the snowblower and put the loader back on. This looks like the perfect machine for the snow storms we get here in Upstate New York. This also looks like the right size machine for moving all the dead Ash trees we have here. Thanks again!

    Great video. Thank you for putting this together. Just got this same set-up and this is very helpful. Well done.

    Pay extra attention to the hydraulic hose routing. On a sharp right turn the tire was tickling the hoses on mine.
    No good can come of that. I zip tied them further out of the way.

      LOL I want a CAB! I have been far to long without them on my JD's on my farm up here in Northern Ontario -35 Celcius winters with the wind blowing my thrown snow into my face etc...Cab is definitely coming to this farm sooner than later!

    Great video, I'm shocked how low that front PTO sits on the tractor! Does it come off? What is the clearance?

    • @danimalshouse
      @danimalshouse  8 місяців тому

      Actually I noticed that right away as well. I'm sure it comes off but I leave it on and just be carful. I've had it full of mud before but otherwise haven't hung up on it before. The clearance is about 8"

    I just used my 3039R snowblower for the first time at my camp. I managed to take out the hydraulic line for the chute with the front tire. It looks like if you crank the wheel all the way to clockwise, the tire hits them. I was backing up and must have caught it. There is no place made to pull them back so I will have to find some place I can tie wrap to after I replace the hose. Bad design

    • @danimalshouse
      @danimalshouse  Рік тому

      I agree and wish there was a simple wire bracket or hook to keep that stuff closer to the machine.

    • @adirondackwoodsman
      @adirondackwoodsman Рік тому

      @@danimalshouse my dealer gave me a couple of brackets to try. I will let you know what I come up with. I think they may be able to raise the hoses up enough but need to find a place to attach it.

    • @fixitlater
      @fixitlater 5 місяців тому

      The 2023 model does have a bolt on hose bracket that keeps the hoses snug.
      I removed them and the cylinder and the attachment - why haul that stuff around?
      Next: put loader on.
      Oh and the impeller bowl blew out since there was a bunch a of granite gravel I hit.
      It's a weld replacement.

      I used 2"x8" wood attached to the wall studs for the floor joists and 6"x6" pillars. Then I used joist hangers to secure 2"x12" wood for the front beams and secured 3/4" CDX plywood to for the floor. The dimensions are near 12' x 6'. for the platforms.

    I am surprised you still have the grill guard on with the top link. Mine hits if I raise the blower up enough. Have you limited your raise height to prevent damage?

      I don't own any of this...YET. What I did note though is that another user mentions that about his tractor (the grill guard removal) and how it's necessary to remove also. I see the reply that it's not imperative to remove on this tractor and I'd like to not have to do this also! So I wonder what's different on yours to this videos?

      @@RogerDiotte I made that comment. I have a 2018 46r and the grill guard has to be removed or the top link will hit at full height. It’s only 2 bolts to remove.

    Nice video!
    My snowblower mounts on the loader arms of my 2025r. It’s a modified blower off of a Cub Cadet. I made a bracket to connect to the JD loader quick attach. To connect the snowblower just pull the pins, drop the bucket, pick up the snowblower, install the pins and plug in a seven way trailer connector which connects the electric joystick in the tractor cab to control the spout motors. The snowblower is powered by an electric start, 18 hp Duramax motor. I’ve been using it for seven years now. There is a Canadian company that sells a nicer, but similar type of system for $7k. Mine is not that nice or large, but my cost is < $1k.

    • @danimalshouse
      @danimalshouse  2 роки тому

      Now it's July and I used this over $6k snowblower twice all winter in only light snow. We had an unusual winter in NE Wisconsin this past year. So long story short, I'm jealous of your $1k model for now. Good luck and thanks for watching!

    Have you heard anything in terms of why you would go with 47, 54, 60 snow blower?

    • @danimalshouse
      @danimalshouse  8 місяців тому

      My option is that you have to balance the size of your machine, the HP available, and the working area you plan to use the setup in. 3-series is perfect for this. I wouldn't go this large on a 1-series though. Thanks!

    Dan, I have a 2022 3046R cab w loader, backhoe and snow blower etc on order. Anyway please tell us about the shoot actuator and where to get one. That is one thing I will want to add and others using 3 rd scv with a big hydraulic ram just is not needed on a 12oz piece of metal. I just got a hydo top link delivered today only 200 bucks and just hooks up to rear scv. I saved all your videos on how to put on & take off loader, backhoe and blower as I will have all of those. THANK YOU

    • @danimalshouse
      @danimalshouse  2 роки тому

      So the electric actuator was a kit that the dealership offered me after I asked about a hydraulic option. The issue with a hydraulic option is the the blower chute turns 180 degrees or more. This causes an issue with hose mounting and also, the deflector is really lightweight. To use a hydraulic ram and SCV for that is likely overkill. I would just ask the dealer if they have a kit. There is a switch mounted up by the dash that works out really nice. Thanks for the feedback and good luck with your new machine when it arrives. You'll love it. Mine is basically my fifth daughter!

  • @robertconnor3324
    @robertconnor3324 Рік тому

    Great video. Is the front 3 point the same dimensions as the rear category 1 ? I think distance between the arms would be about 28 inches or so for cat 1. However I have also seen that it is listed as cat 1N which I think means narrow or about 19 inches between the arms. Deere site is not clear. Again great video.

    • @danimalshouse
      @danimalshouse  11 місяців тому

      The front is definitely not the same as the rear category 1. It is a completely different design.

    I’ve got the same blower, and I was reading the manual today, and it said that the A frame attaches to the tractor first, which you can do by hand, saving you from trying to line up the tight U channels, and then drive in a lift the blower up to attach it. I’ve been doing it the same way that you are, but tried it today, and the other way is even easier.

    how much work is involved with switching from the front snow blower to a mid mower?

    • @danimalshouse
      @danimalshouse  Рік тому

      Hi, I'm sorry but I'm not sure. I know that when I take my snowblower off I leave the mid-mount shaft that goes all the way to the front alone. It just stays on all the time because I don't have a mower for the tractor. I would guess you'd have to take off the pto mount, the shaft, and the potentially add a front bracket for the mower yoke.
