“I gave you everything. My skills. My friendship. My home. My secrets, my treasures… and you just kept taking. And now what have I got?… Not even my family…” This part breaks me every time. Adam J. Harrington delivered such a gut wrenching performance you’d never have expected from someone who was as innocent and cheerful as Sindri. You can hear just how utterly ruined he is. Everyone in the cast brought their A game for this one, but holy shit, this line made me bawl my eyes out.
Honestly, Brok has an amazing sense of craftsmanship, he’s the only who spot something is wrong with Tyr since the beginning, although Mimir is the smartest head alive, Brok is on another level.

The absolute chills I felt when heimdall's face got smashed in and choked out, watching his prosthetic arm fade and his eyes turn to pure black was just cold, especially after Kratos realized what he did, even after trying to spare him twice. Kratos' face that went from spartan rage into regret sent shocks down to my core.
One thing cool about heimdalls death (37:37), Heimdall can read peoples mind and learn about them, when kratos has heimdall on the ground chocking him, mimir says "This isnt who you want to be" i think heimdall read kratos's mind when mimir said that to see who he (kratos) used to be, and when he does see kratos past/ghost of sparta, thus making his last words "monster"
Yo brok is really intelligent and brilliant. He was the only one who felt Tyr had an ulterior motive in a room full of ppl. And he also quickly thought of building a weapon that can stop heimdall
this literally explains all of tyr's behavior LIKE that one episode where Cory was watching Tyr make dinner and Tyr was talking about how Freya was as pretty as he remembered and why he calls mimir "old friend" and how he was tryna convince everyone that Odin already won HEIMDALL WHO?
Sindri's words after Brok's death were hurtful, yet had merit. He has had everything taken from him, he literally has nothing left to live for. Everyone has taken everything they can from him and he's let it happen. That fact alone just wrenches my soul, Sindri was truly a kind soul who was pushed beyond the breaking point.
My thing is, had Sindri died, I feel like Brok would’ve been upset, but also wouldn’t have held anything against Kratos and Atreus because of one simple fact He knew how to let something go Sindri held such value on practically everything, to the point where I have to wonder if he ever knew how to let go of something, whether it be small like when people don’t follow his rules on cleanliness and hygiene, or bigger like Draupnir to make a weapon for Kratos Brok on the other hand knew how to let things go, he didn’t get overly attached to anything since he knew someday he’d lose that thing, whether it be a treasure, or a person Had Sindri died, Brok would’ve sent his brother off with a funeral, remember him fondly, and continue helping Kratos and Atreus, but Sindri just couldn’t let Brok go, which not only led to him becoming a shell of his former self, but also damning his brother to oblivion, no peace, no afterlife, nothing I like Sindri, but I like Brok a whole lot more, because of all this
HEIMDALL WHO!?!?! That fight was crazy. The amount of work put into this game is incredible. I cant imagine how much work it took to create this amazing masterpiece.

@@bryn1063 That’s what they’re for. So people can discuss what happened in the video. It’s common sense to usually watch the whole video before snooping in the comments but the other guy hasn’t quite figured that out
1:30:00 When Sandri disappears with Brok that’s how their special dwarves realm travel abilities work and how they’re able to go to all the realms with you! They always appeared and disappeared offscreen like Batman so this was the first time we actually saw that
watching this again a year later, but just wanted to comment on something. I feel like the scene with Thor and Thrud really captures what it’s like to have an alcoholic or addicted parent and how it feels to need to “parent” them and be upset with their repeated behavior and mistakes. As someone who has an alcoholic mother and an addicted father the scene really hit home to me. When she was trying to get him out the bar, the scene after the fight where she’s telling him to get up and what to do. I know it all too well :/ even when she’s defeated and tells him he f*cked up… hits wayyyy too close to home and i think that scene captured that kind of relationship well
You said it perfectly. Sorry to hear about your parents. My grandpa is a alcoholic so I get a second hand experience every once in awhile, of course I don’t know what it’s like to have parents like that but I can get were you and thrud are coming from.
That scene sent a powerful message to alcoholic parents, and to kids with these types of parents, I'm sorry about your parents 😢I hope your doing better
The section where Thrúde is talking to Thor while he’s drunk is so heartbreaking, growing up with an alcoholic parent and trying to force them to act like adults is the hardest thing in the world for a kid to do and seeing her be so upset hit way too close to home. Cory’s videos are always the best and whoever wrote/voice-acted the dialogue needs an award-
And the thing that makes it worse is that we know why he acts like this we seen his backstory we understand that old it was never really a father to him, and he never really learned how to understand his feelings, and the only one that will understand his feelings as his wife, and because she never liked odin and She doesn’t like when he’s around his father, so he’s between a rock and a hard place, so he drowned his feelings in alcohol
Seriously seeing her hurt for her father as well as by his father broke me, it was like looking dead in a mirror. Having to baby a parent, having them have parental issues that transfer on to you. This scene was tuff to watch😞
Exactly,Brok didn’t deserve to get killed again(reason I said “again” is because Sindri explained to Atreus how he got 3 out 4 pieces of Brok’s soul together),Brok was the only one out of everyone who figured out what was happening the second “tyr” entered through the doors
I was highly suspicious when he sat at the head of the table and surveyed but i figured i was being paranoid it looked like he directly opposed Kratos As soon as he said he'd fight tho that's when i said naw somethings up
1:20:03 yall notice hpw Odin goes straight for Loki, barely looks at Thor? Rubbing a father-son bond that Thir will never have in his face, making him more resentful and hurt, making him more likely to go drink again like Odin wants? I love those details - tells you how little this guy cares about his family
You could tell how broken Sindri is when you got to his Smithing part, The person who always wore gloves, Feared anything that wasn't Clean, Stopped wearing his gloves and gave 0 damn about anything at that point. Rest in peace Brok
37:22 this part genuinely shocked me, I literally flinched every time kratos threw a punch, and it scared me, kratos promised he's not 'that' kratos anymore, yet there he was, also HEIMDALL WHO!??
I love how this game can truly represent what it both feels like and looks like to deal with the outcome of your mistakes. Especially when they are mistakes made with good intentions. How the story illustrates the fallout of (yk what part) is absolutely flawless. The pain of hurting a loved one in ways you can never take back. I felt it from this game. Masterpiece

@@evan9570 isn't he half giant at least? I thought he was Æsir-Jötnar

Dawg the ending to this video literally made me tear up. Sindri sounds so broken that it hurts to see him change Octaves out of nowhere to express that. It really showed how the game is truly coming to a close. I'll definitely be on time for a next episode. 💖💖💖
Agreed. It hurts me to see such a great character change from glee to dismay in a matter of seconds.
I love the attention to detail of how Heimdall reads minds, and Kratos was thinking of his past. So in return, Heimdall said “Monster…” and then died.

1:29:24 *[Big Spoiler]*
This part always gets me man 🥲 Brok IS the goat and ALWAYS WILL BE THE GOAT.
Even though Odin does not give two craps about them. 1:20:36 he can probably be a better parent then both of them.
Kratos hitting that ONE punch on hiemdal was so satisfying to see after him dodging everything 😂😂
facts bro
"Nah these sucker's speaking Spanish. Take them out"💀💀
The section where Thrúde is talking to Thor while he’s drunk is so heartbreaking, growing up with an alcoholic parent and trying to force them to act like adults is the hardest thing in the world for a kid to do and seeing her be so upset hit way too close to home. Cory’s videos are always the best and whoever wrote/voice-acted the dialogue needs an award-
fr
I had this exact thought and experience
Parentification ❤️🩹❤️🩹
And the thing that makes it worse is that we know why he acts like this we seen his backstory we understand that old it was never really a father to him, and he never really learned how to understand his feelings, and the only one that will understand his feelings as his wife, and because she never liked odin and She doesn’t like when he’s around his father, so he’s between a rock and a hard place, so he drowned his feelings in alcohol
Seriously seeing her hurt for her father as well as by his father broke me, it was like looking dead in a mirror. Having to baby a parent, having them have parental issues that transfer on to you. This scene was tuff to watch😞
1:39:09 I started crying so hard 😭 brok was the mannnnn.
He didn't deserve it.
1:31:32
Exactly,Brok didn’t deserve to get killed again(reason I said “again” is because Sindri explained to Atreus how he got 3 out 4 pieces of Brok’s soul together),Brok was the only one out of everyone who figured out what was happening the second “tyr” entered through the doors

Sindri breaking down and crying has to be the most heart wrenching moment in this whole series
Odin doesn't see family, he sees _utility._ Second he got the mask, he would've locked "Loki" in a cage as his live-in translator.
Especially the "Youre welcome" by thor, shows that odin's actions hurt him
You could tell how broken Sindri is when you got to his Smithing part, The person who always wore gloves, Feared anything that wasn't Clean, Stopped wearing his gloves and gave 0 damn about anything at that point. Rest in peace Brok

SMOKING ON HEIMDALLLLLLLL 🔥💫
The level of nonchalant Heimdall is in his first stage compared to the brutality and maniac level of fright and fear he gets in the second is insane.
Kratos is like Soulja Boy he's the first God to ever hit Heimdall
I love how this game can truly represent what it both feels like and looks like to deal with the outcome of your mistakes. Especially when they are mistakes made with good intentions. How the story illustrates the fallout of (yk what part) is absolutely flawless. The pain of hurting a loved one in ways you can never take back. I felt it from this game. Masterpiece
