Hey guys! I apologize in advance if there are any mistakes in the video, although I tried my best to find reliable information about this legendary mobster. Don't be afraid to criticize - your criticism makes me work better and harder! 😉
Kansas City Mo mob wars of the 70's. I live just a block up from Nick Civellas old house. It's a beautiful place. We used to drive by to get the flood lights to come on. Kinda stupid now. 😂
By one account, Al Capone is responsible for expiration dates on food in the supermarket. Complaints about spoiled milk being sold in stores reached him. Capone sent his men out to “suggest” to shopkeepers that they write dates on the milk. The practice spread. Anybody else ever heard this?
I'm so glad I came across your channel! 😃 Your comentary is very alluring and your content is informative of course. Other channels I've came across were very cliché and boring! You've got my subscription for sure! 😃👍🏼
So glad i found your channel! Your editing, scripting, and narration are so great! I love watching true crime and mob docs, but often theyre over produced....and far FAR too many youtubers don't fact check enough. Really great stuff!
Dude As someone with two people in my ancestry who were hitmen under Al Capone, wtf are you talking about he wasn't a good or admirable person at all Neither were my ancestors, to be clear
The Outlaws MC had a chapter taken down by gambling machines. Couldn't get them on guns, prostitution, drugs, or murder, but a slot machine worked using RICO.
You hear so many stories about Big Al, you don't know what to believe about him. Some of his places are still in Chicago, including his 2 flat building on the South Side. The hotel that he lived in, is gone. However, one of his gambling spots is still there.
Damn kids, the quote is, "You can go a long way in the world with a smile, you can go a lot further with a smile and a gun". Hey, you kids get off my lawn(electronically shakes fist). Decent video nonetheless. Oh by the way, this is not a libelous statement: Al Capone created the "Better Business Bureau".
Thank you for your comment! I found exactly that version of the quote, it was listed in many sources, although, as you said, those sources could lie too. Still, the meaning of the quote is the same - that's the main thing. Frankly, your comment even amused me (in a good way). Thanks for that 😃
This is the second one of your videos I have watched since finding your channel about an hour ago and am quite enjoying your quality made content. Something, however, that drew my attention occurred at 29:13-ish with the use of the word "exasperated" when it seems that "exacerbated" would be the more accurate choice, there. Within the context used, I'm sure reasonable people could disagree on this (trivial?) detail but my oft-pedantic nature wouldn't allow me to ignore it, once observed, especially, as it seems that accuracy is important to this channel. My nitpicking aside, I am looking forward to enjoying more of your catalog. It's a good day to subscribe, as well, so I shall do so now. Thanks!
Thank you very much for your kind words and for paying attention to mistakes, because reasonable criticism makes me make the content even better. Thank you!
IIt's funny how the narrator pronounced words incorrectly like Torreo and Cicero. Some of the pictures have nothing to do with Capone such as the prison where Dillinger escaped, a close-up of Henry Ford, etc. even so, pretty well done. Lose the mouse click sound when pictures are changed. I don't know why that gad started it it adds nothing and it gets irritating.

He went to prison for a long time and was seriously ill with syphilis, even though he was not that old. Of course, there were worse options, like death, but the end was no fun for a mob boss who had ruled Chicago for years. I think you'll agree.
@@showcrime He had hand in murdering dozens, and only got 11 yrs for tax evasion.... Seems to me he got off easy.... Syphilis was the direct effect of the prostitution ring he was running.... I just can't feel sorry for a man who caused more suffering, than he received....

Give him a chance...he probably will. I put NOTHING PAST HIM. He always calls him 'The late great Al Capone". He has a love of gangsters, dictators, psychopaths and thieves...just like himself.

my only criticism is your lack of subs and views. this needs more views and you need more subs.
We need John Gotti
@@lilmoenumba5 Yes, this is also a very interesting character. Maybe we'll make a video about him as well

Can you do one on whitey bulger, they made a movie black mass with Johnny depp. I really enjoy your videos
Hi! Yes, we will definitely make a video about him
Using laundry mats was smart. He was definitely playing chess while everyone else was playing checkers.
They already went into that room and cleaned it out... duh!!!
Great doku :)
Love him 💜
Great viideo. Never knew any of this.

Great video content, but it would be much more pleasant if you would pronounce proper nouns correctly.

Didn't pronounce the last name Johnny Torio correctly.

Frankie Vale?
Need to work on pronouncing names. Johnny Torrio and Cicero are both easy to look up. Good video tho

Too cheap to hire the most expensive lawyer? He deserved the downfall!
No doubt about it, and yet he had a chance to escape such a severe punishment

According to Michael Frachezze Capone was RYN out of NEW YORK
So, basically Al Capone had the last laugh long after his death, laughing all the way from his grave. Boss! Lol
"You CAN'T get...."? Not a good start when the creator of a video can't even read his own material properly!
Wait he only got one million plus a mo
Sad end? Please.
