I’m so glad he’s better now. You have been such a gift to me this Christmas season. I’m a foster care social worker and this season can be especially hard trying to make Christmas special for other people’s kids. It is a labor of love to gather donations and you kept me company as I collected and wrapped over 50 presents, and then pushed myself to try to do Christmas for my own family. You were such an encouragement and bright spot. Thank you for your videos. I’m thankful that you felt up to making them. Wishing you and your family good health and blessings in the new year.
Happy to hear Adam is doing better. I live with my daughter her husband and the grands. This year has been crazy. Lots of illnesses in the house. Two girls with the flu, two others with the crud (like Adam) then another with a mixture of it and my daughter falling down at work. They won’t allow her to return or pay for her medical because technically she was really clocked in. They check in at the door, something was on the floor and she fell before actually clocking in. My son in law has had a bit of both with nothing helping him to get better. Considering all that I was able to have us a nice Christmas spending time with everyone taking a spot on the sofa. Christmas Eve two children helped with wrapping gifts and wanting the youngest to have double the gifts as everyone else. They wrapped movies, pasta, (she loves macaroni) and other odds and ends around the house. They did the same to some of the other siblings and Dad, it was sweet. Lots of laughs and smiles all around. I’m telling you all this because you gave us an amazing VLOGMAS. Who cares if you missed days, you were sick, Connor and Adam. I’m happy your young daughter didn’t get sick and you still had a guest. The hope and inspiration you gave us was highly appreciated. I don’t write much but I have been a subscriber since you worked at the hospital and would leave at the crap of dawn. I pray your subscribers that won enjoy the Surprise you had for them. God Bless you and yours. Thank you so very much Jennifer
Happy to hear your husband is feeling better. I always look forward to your Vlogmas every year and want to wish you and your family a very Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year!
We changed things up this year and had a delicious seafood Christmas dinner and it was perfecto! I’m pretty traditional, but grieving the loss of my Mom so close to the holidays made preparing Christmas dinner seem so daunting. Next year I will carry on the tradition.
It's so wonderful to hear that Adam's feeling better. I feel that there is so much pressure to do everything, be everywhere, see everyone at Christmas. But if you step back, it is really just a day; one that you have full control over what you'd like to do and not do. Or see who you want/need to see and not see, and be where you want/need to be and not be. Any day could be Christmas if you wanted it to be. So you can bake your Christmas treats when you feel festive and bright again. Not just on the 25th December. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas. I hope the coming year brings you great joy, good health, fulfillment, strength, prosperity and happiness. Thank you for all that you do and looking forward to all of your new videos in 2025🥰🎄⭐️💚❤️
I would love to see what you got for Christmas, I’m nosey. My husband and I live near my parents and we see them all the time so we travel and spend Christmas with his parents.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I had a fantastic Christmas! My kids and grands were here, all but the ones who live in CA. They’re coming in January or February because the tickets are so much cheaper! I consider it my Christmas present to just have my family around me. They also did most of the dinner and it was delicious. My son grows his own beef on his little farm so he supplies the prime rib! My daughter and DIL did the sides. I made the cheesecake. Yum!
I’m glad that you all had a nice Christmas! I’m sure Keira’s friend had a nice time, as well. It’s so thoughtful of you to include her. ❤ I always say, “The more, the merrier!” Although I don’t expect you to extend vlogmas, (especially given the illnesses) I would certainly love to watch more. 😁
Hi! Glad Adam is better! Thank you for all of the entertaining and informative videos! I got a primary bathroom remodel for Christmas that I love lol but sweet husband did say he will make a donation to our local cat welfare in my name which I love too. Eager to see the rest of your Vlogmas videos 😊
I had a very nice Christmas so far, we even had a little snow this year! it's all being washed away today by rain 😥❄I'm happy to hear you're all on the mend! 🎄🎄🎄🎄
Hi Jennifer! I’m happy that you were able to pull through this holiday! I am also happy that Adam is feeling better. I had to laugh when you said that you were sicker than Adam.😂 we do that in my house all the time! We’re always one upping who has an illness worse than the other. For example, I was so sore and my muscles hurt so bad from two days of cooking and cleaning, then going up and down the stairs so many times to the garage to get things I needed like sodas, canned goods, paper goods, etc. By yesterday, my knee locked up too. I was in a lot of pain. You know what my husband said? He said,”now you know how I feel.” ????? REALLY? I don’t remember him doing one cotton picking thing! He sat and watched TV the entire time (except to eat) is what I remember. As for Christmas, it wasn’t the best. I was feeling kind of blue thinking about relatives that are no longer with us and because the season just slipped by me this year. I just didn’t have time to truly enjoy it. (I’m on dialysis three days a week). I didn’t have any days where I felt good enough to go shopping much. I was also afraid to order things online, because packages are being stolen from people’s doorsteps like crazy. It has become a hassle to order and then worry that I might miss a delivery. So, in general, I’ve had better Christmases. Hopefully next year. I’m going to start buying things early this year and stock piling them away til next Christmas. I figure a little at a time - just things I know that won’t need to be returned. I want to ready for the holiday next year. I don’t want it to get by me again.
I'm so sorry to hear about your holiday, but glad you're feeling better! The holidays are stressful even when you're feeling good. I wish you all the best for next year.
Hubs and I don't do gifts for each other, but we did buy a new roof for Christmas 🤣 We have an 8 months old so this is our first Christmas with a baby and that was so fun and magical! Hope you had a great Christmas spending time with family despite all the sickness. We had the stomach bug last week and it was no fun at all.
Hiii jen, Merry Christmas! We had a great Christmas! Our son and his girlfriend were here. I got a new calender book, some make up, and hot rollers!😂. Just to name a few! Looking forward to seeing what you got! ❤🎉
I got the stomach flu from my 2 year old Granddaughter! It was worth it though to have here for Christmas. I had both my sons and their families here so who could ask for more!! I did receive a beautiful 2 carat diamond tennis bracelet from my husband so that wasn't too shabby either!😂
Jen, glad everyone is feeling better. I loved seeing Milo at the beginning of the video. He’s so cute. I got very practical gifts this year. The best gift will be coming later tonight. Our son is flying home for a short visit. He lives in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada) so we don’t get to see him very often. Our dog is going to go nuts. I hope the rest of the holidays is relaxing and illness free. Happy New Years.
So happy to hear the family is all well. Yay! The stew and chicken salad looks delish. We made homemade enchiladas, mexican rice, tacos, and beans. Dinner was good. One of the coolest items I received as a gift was an exact replica of the two gallon crock with Homemade 1cent Pickles on the front. It is a replica of the one sitting on the kitchen counter in the background on "Friends" (T.V. series). I just love it, looks so cool. Will house a lot if not all of my cooking utensils. It is nice and big. Thanks for sharing some Christmas with us. Looking forward to whatever comes next, it is always good. Take care and see you soon.
Glad everyone is better. My husband went and saw A Taste of Ireland 🇮🇪 A Celtic Christmas dance tour. I loved Ireland went in beginning 2023. A experience…is better for us. We don’t need anything. Sage The Riverdance Tour a couple years ago. Loved it 😍
Glad everyone is feeling better and has a great day. My son and i met my mom and dad over my sister and brother in law’s and enjoyed a great meal. We all made something and brought. We all enjoyed the day spent with family. My son got me the ninja slow cooker. I think called the ninja foodi pro. I’ve wanted a couple years now and my slow cooker is ancient and on last leg.
The Christmas chaos is all coming together! And you did it, whoop! Nothing can stop you now and the way you balanced it all as so many pieces were flying everywhere this year is astounding. 💪 So glad that your family had a great Christmas despite the stomach bug that had flown in. The food looks delicious and I hope you were able to create great memories around it. 🎄🍲🙌
I am glad that you all made it through Christmas!! I love your posts and find them comforting many times. I look forward to viewing more in 2025. Happy New year!!
Adam done good! I love a simple pair of diamonds. My family got me a new Apple phone. I needed one. My co-workers got me some fun things - Jamie Oliver cookbooks, elf pj’s, grinch socks, gift cards and the most amazing set of Chanukah decorated Temp-rations bakers from QVC (now I want the matching pieces that I have no room for.) One of my co-workers baked the most delicious Mexican baked goods (she is half Mexican/half Columbian). She also gave me a small bottle of tequila. Yum. Those baked goods were so good. She is so talented.
Glad everyone is feeling better! I was sick Monday thru Thur, so not much of a holiday for me. But I got the 2 gifts I really wanted, the Dolly Parton cookbook and the Pandora Stranger Things collection demagorgan earrings!
Our Christmas was great, this year I had our turkey dinner on Boxing Day and it made Christmas Day so relaxing! I think I’ll do the same next year too. So glad you had a wonderful Christmas ❤
Merry Christmas Jen! 🎄🎁 I'm glad you had a good Christmas and Adam recovered quickly. My Christmas was good. I received a few things I needed but I lived being with my family.
Instead of exchanging gifts, hubby and I go on a fun getaway. We even took our precooked holiday food to the hotel and enjoyed for breakfast on Christmas Day! It was fun. ;)
We had a wonderful Christmas spent at home, and we ordered Chinese for dinner. I got new windshield wipers (desperately needed), a heated frother which I love, and some other useful items from my husband. Im glad your family is feeling better. Happy New Year!
So happy you all had a good Christmas. So Kera was the lucky to avoid the terrible stomach. I had a great Christmas! I got a new Air Fryer from Amazon and a new Shark CordedVacuum, which hasn’t arrived from QVC yet. It’s funny how Santa knows where I shop.😁
So glad Adam is feeling better! The stomach bug is the literal worst! I can’t wait to see what you got for Christmas this year! My husband got me the Kendra Scott 12 days of Christmas advent calendar! I was slightly obsessed
Nice video Jen..glad Adam got well ..to enjoy his Christmas with you all..low key Christmas here..stayed at home..my son and I had Papa Johns Pizza and breadsicks for Christmas Eve..He worked 11pm-7am..we had cinnamon rolls for breakfast too...and homemade broccoli cheese soup and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches..and cheesecake for our dessert. Now that I am writing this..a lot of cheese was involved😂
I was actually worried about all of you and that stomach bug! Glad that Adam's was short-lived. A little Christmas miracle! We went to the Sonic movie yesterday too. I also dozed a bit, but tried not to as my son always looks over at me to see my reactions to things that he loves and I always feel like I need to be invested in these things! Lol. It was cute...he wore his Sonic toque. He's 14! But, he wore it to the other two, so he just had to. 😂 Christmas was quiet and lovely. Went to my sister's for brunch. Got some fun new kitchen things, including a set of French onion soup bowls. Totally retro looking. Going to make soup on NYE!
My hubs and I just exchange Christmas cards., although he puts money n mine. (I don’t reciprocate.) 😁 We tend to buy what we want through the year, so nbd at Christmas. Glad ur all well again!
OMG. I can't say I was never in my life trying for perfection because I've been there, but did reach a point I realized it's not the most important thing, if i could say anything to anyone in hindsight in life, it is the time you spend and sometimes the simplest of traditions. Every perfect thing that is attempted takes time away. I'm not criticizing at all but I can tell you my kids, well past adults now only recall certain things, and really the most important of them. Not the gifts, not the treats, oh they do have a thing about a few certain FOODS but not 50 of them lol. And we did all of that. The last things I would have expected. Pressured parents at Christmas do not make for relaxed times. I really don't advise but would just hope with some that do such they'd just realize, even ask, i'ts not what they care about most or remember in later years. People do get sick, sometimes work and schedules are an issue, all sorts of things. Yet we try for this perfection but at what cost... I truly mean this well and hope it helps someone. It is YOU making something with them, or going on a walk with them to maybe see lights, things like that. Mine would fight over my least favorite decoration from what I've heard if I died. And having lived a lot of years by now, another thing is sometimes the things that don't go right end up being good memories. And funny even. There's a few in our family. One was a gravy incident. Another a first attempt by a younger family member at deviled eggs. I'd just say don't stress oneself I guess or go for perfection, and then you feel you always have to match it or outdo it every year and created an expectation. Agiain no know it all, I've certainly been there and done it. I also regret such. I'm just trying to help anyone, and I get this is YT and a show. Just talking real which is one reason I stick wtih this channel. She seems pretty real. I did not have a Christmas, not going to talk about it, but it happens. Kids also need to be able to deal with such when adults, that things do not always go as one would hope. Anyhow, enough, but it's the best thing I could say.. I'm not one to give advice. But I've watched a ton of channels that are trying for such perfection... I know what I recall from my childhood and it was not the most expensive gifts ever received, whether every treat was there, etc.... Of course we all have our favorites but it isn't the end of the world if not there... I guess I am just trying to say to people it isn't what really matters, or even ends up mattering to your kids in the long run, and Merry Christmas and let's hope for a Happy New Year.
We had a lovely Christmas Eve big family meal and a nice Christmas morning. We only have one adult son at home so Christmas is very different now. We have been remodeling our house for the past year and that has been the majority of our Christmas. We had just a few gifts each. My son got me Ina Garten’s autobiography so I’m looking forward to reading that and my husband got me a new stick blender with attachments which I’m excited about. Today I’ve come down with a horrible cold bug so that stinks. Lots of coughing. No fun at all. I’m sure it will pass in a few days. Time to just slow down and be sick.
I got a beautiful Denis Basso purple faux fur coat,Two perfumes,Vionic house shoes,a big stainless teapot, stainless measuring cups,a whole set of pioneer women dishes,We ordered a smoked 5lb ham and 4 sides from QVC delish 😊
I am glad you had a good Christmas despite things but I am a bit surprised you went visiting when you have a stomach bug in the family. I wouldn't visit unless we had at least 2 full days with no illness whatsoever, even if the sick person didn't go with us, but maybe I am cautious.
I’m so glad he’s better now. You have been such a gift to me this Christmas season. I’m a foster care social worker and this season can be especially hard trying to make Christmas special for other people’s kids.

OMG. I can't say I was never in my life trying for perfection because I've been there, but did reach a point I realized it's not the most important thing, if i could say anything to anyone in hindsight in life, it is the time you spend and sometimes the simplest of traditions.
One time I was having people over and dropped a whole casserole in a glass dish on my tile floor and I cried 😂 makes for a funny story now!
Sounds like Norovirus. Very contagious! Ugh.
We were missing 5 people from the stomach bug. We had tons of food. I sent bags of food home with the folks that showed up.
❤️
We had a lovely Christmas Eve big family meal and a nice Christmas morning. We only have one adult son at home so Christmas is very different now. We have been remodeling our house for the past year and that has been the majority of our Christmas. We had just a few gifts each. My son got me Ina Garten’s autobiography so I’m looking forward to reading that and my husband got me a new stick blender with attachments which I’m excited about. Today I’ve come down with a horrible cold bug so that stinks. Lots of coughing. No fun at all. I’m sure it will pass in a few days. Time to just slow down and be sick.
❤❤❤
Well I got sick Christmas Eve, and I’m still down for the count. Here’s to feeling better soon.
I got a beautiful Denis Basso purple faux fur coat,Two perfumes,Vionic house shoes,a big stainless teapot, stainless measuring cups,a whole set of pioneer women dishes,We ordered a smoked 5lb ham and 4 sides from QVC delish 😊
Merry late Christmas, Jen. Hope Adam is feeling better.
Jen, can you do a video on your journey to becoming a creator. How to stay authentic, do brand deals, track expenses and income etc?!
Good idea!
I was gifted a hori hori, gift cards to seed stores, a Japanese weeding tool, a subscription to a gardening magazine.
I am glad you had a good Christmas despite things but I am a bit surprised you went visiting when you have a stomach bug in the family. I wouldn't visit unless we had at least 2 full days with no illness whatsoever, even if the sick person didn't go with us, but maybe I am cautious.
Jen, did I MISS something..didn't see a stocking for Murphy..didn't see him in the video..I hope that he is doing okay
Very very quiet this year. For the first time ever, neither of my children were here. So, we were alone.
Wow your hair is sooooooo crisp
The flu was different for all of us in my family me being the worst. Immune systems? Do not want that again!
I had a lazy day for Christmas. I don't have any family close by, thank God! Just me and my 2 cats. Quiet and peaceful.
That sounds great :)
