"Put on a smile" is the best track on the album. Also the "can we take it higher" in "Blast Off" give me chills (it's the same sensation that i have when i listen "Locked out of heaven").
The way crying is depicted in “Put on a smile” is impeccable. The album has a little bit of everything for everyone while also having a linear thematic narrative. Best album of the year so far! Super impressed with this duo!

Only album i can see in the future really making a cultural impact is going to probably be a kdot, or frank ocean album and if both of those artists drop it’ll cement 2021 as probably the best year for music since at least 2018. Not to mention Travis was supposed to drop this year but with all the tragedy going on rn he might delay that project indefinitely.

Paak is a genius man, I know Bruno is gonna get all the credit because hes the "star" of the group, but these sounds have Anderson written all over them. He is a true disciple of Motown.
Idc what anyone else says but that usually happens when 1 is a global superstar in a duo, but Bruno himself has said that Paak lit up a fire in him when he was lost in the studio and is credited on every single track and in interviews too. Paak is amazing but bruno is pretty damn good too.

First of all... CONGRATS ON 45K BROTHERS.... This is an Iconic album, I love Anderson, his voice is amazing. Bruno mars has changed his voice from a few years ago and it fits so well with the flow of this album. Thier voices and vocals go so well together and its so smooth when listening to them. First listen I believe this is a top 5 album of the year, might go to top 3 just waiting for Kendrick lol. 10/10 no complaints. Love the video

They should have moved Fly as me in the tracklist and created a kind of narrative sequence with LTDO, ALN and SOTW, documenting a relationship from the first seductions to a feeling of frustration about a perceived lack of loyalty.
