- A rarity in terms of different traction at Leicester Station here, with 91117 & 91120 arriving at Leicester L.I.P. from Bounds Green on the 5th October. These pair of locos are eventually bound for Bulgaria for freight duties. Skip to 14:03 to see these, if you don't want to see plenty of East Midlands Railway, DB and Cross Country action! 05/10/19
I would have loved to have seen them, I heard about it, but wasn't free on the day, very upset 😔
Also, is there any news on the class 91s at Kettering and market harbourgh? Are the tests still taking place because of COVID-19??
Are they going too use the class 91s I really hope they do one of my favourite units along with hst

@@OwenJGunnVideography is the battery life any good mate?
@@alfies.trains I have three bigger spare batteries that I use for days out. The standard battery is good though!
Well on the one hand I am glad they are not being scrapped as they are obviously far too good for that. On the other I am sad they won't be on UK soil anymore.
Also a pity they never got to realise their 140mph potential, and now never will. But I suppose they've had a decent run, even if never quite used to their full potential.
Funny that they're being dragged in by a loco (design) barely a decade their junior
I really don't like the new EMR purple livery, too similar to cross-country
