Just watched your 15/06/2018 vid.,Keith and enjoyed it. Bit of an eye opener for me,as I've not been to Derby ,nor especially, Leicester for years.Wasn't aware there were so many Loco's parked up at Leicester. Sad to see many of them in such a neglected state.Brings back steam age memories of Barry! Hugh G.
Very nice Keith, great to get all the 56's and friends lined up at Leicester LIP before they're moved. Developments at Derby moving on fast too - the blockade from late July to early October will throw up some different diversionary routes for sure.
thank you for your reply top notch always watch your videos there th bees knees i often go to ealing last time i had a pair of binoes a lady tought i was looking at her and staart trowing stones ,i am a cockney from wapping and always like great things and you should get more prase along with your freinds ,i like to ask if any period of time you would go back which would it be with the cameras you have now
I am booked to arrive at Glasgow Central at 10.38 . 17th July. On Pendolino. Departing at 5,30 pm. I hope to go to Motherwell Mossend Whifflet etc and on Underground and maybe Queen Street,
Wow, so many loco's, including a 58. I thought that all 58's had either been scrapped of shipped to other countries in Europe, mainly France and Spain, but it seems one has been held back for preservation. That's going to be one hell of a convoy if they moved them out at the same time :) - Excellent video Keith, enjoyed that a lot.
That was not Mountsorrel! Mountsorrel has a GCR branch line station, and is on the other side of the soar valley, this video was of the Aggregate yard at Barrow-upon-soar.
GBRfan 92 any info on that please let me know? Yo yo thinks they might be 60076 021 and 3 others where did you get info from? Cheers Nick.thanks for your comment on 66051 Stockport, dont know why it didnt show up on my comments? Found it on my jnbox!
Wow Wow what a session Keith, so much to discuss that I wont bother id be commenting all week!! Woner if yo saw ROG 47712/3 at Leicester? caught them returning back to L/LIP through Stockport Fri night, they had dropped off more TP mk 5 sets to Manchester international for the forthcoming tp services. At York yesterday sae nowt!! Enjoyed as always cheers Nick.
Apparently, 'various locations' is the word. GBRF have purchased 16 of them. 10 are planned to be rebuilt/re-powered. 3 to remain 'as is', while the other 3 are to be 'spares' donors.

Cheers - Allan.
Good video Keith got caught out at Mountsorrell matey 😀 the 2 x 153 at Derby was the local service to Crewe pal. Derek
It was good you made a record of the way things are at present with all those forthcoming changes!
Awesome Video Once Again. The Double 153's I Believe Could Have Been Derby-Crewe Service.

Excellent video of the locomotives at Leicester L.I.P and Derby R.T.C! I believe the Class 56s are going to GBRf.

TrainSpotter2003 said GBRf have bought 12 Class 56 diesels I think!
GBRfan 92 thanks
I heard from someone Colas had taken some, but if they have gone GBRf they’re the next GM diesels
Are you sure that was in 2018! So many locos. well done Keith
Great vid Keith
Amazing video Keith. Shame that these loco's will be going. I hope some might go for preservation.
Great Video Keith
Like someone else has said what a difference it makes when no freight wagons blocking the view. Had no idea it was that large!
When are the locos going?
Sooooon.
Fantastic Video Their! I Really Enjoyed This Video :)
Last time I was there at LIP there was old wagons must have been taken to some where
My old man was a firemen at Leicester in '59
think the depots staying with its current owners but the 56's are going to GBRf and a few 60's as well from colas
Wow, so much yellow at RTC Derby, if it's still called that .
Many oeople call them Banana's
We've just been quoted £600 minimum to get car fixed so having to cut back on unnecessary pleasure trips ie train spotting.
Brilliant!
They are being cleared out, so EMT can stable their trains during the Derby area blockade.
Pipper Dickens where are they going to?

Nice
Why does this country buy hundreds of locos then a few years later they are scrapped wasting all that money
