This is the first video of my custom mini chopper build. In this video I just go over where I am at in the build up process up to this point. More video to follow.
Looks amazing. I can see how you put ur own taste into it. A lot of mini choppers always looks out of proportion to the rider and you made it look nice. Keep up the good work!
I know this was awhile back, but I really like the "shredder" primary drive and two speed jack shaft. Tank could be a little wider imo, but overall awesome build. I know it's probably be a little dangerous, but I would keep the chains open for that hard ass chopper look you got going on. Only the "real men" had that type of primary shredder set up on their bikes. Nice man.
i like it i built a mini chopper for my nephew i bought a razor mini chopper and bought a pocket bike motor and made some tail pipes for it and painted it real nice with a matching helment if u would like to see it ill make a video
Hopefully you see this and can reply, I want to have a similar set up as far as the clutches go, my question(s) are, are there different "weights" for the clutches? How would you be able to tel which you need for a live idle? And wouldn't even at a higher rpm the "first gear"would still be spinning rapidly? Would it hurt it? Thank you if you see and reply, trying to build one myself
I aint going nowhere. I'll be right here when you're ready. No stress.
Wow -- you've obviously put a lot of thought, and a lot of ingenious work, into this! Very cool.

Thanks...my goal from the beginning was to make it look right and ride comfortable.

It wasnt intended to be like that and probably wont be once I finish it.

It was a kit I bought awhile back...not sure if its still available
I will try not to drag this project out to long, and get vids up fast.
good work man.
Thanks...appreciate the feedback
I sure dont...It uses standard style clutches so I would say not much over 5 horse

the first clutch does stay engaged but once the second clutch applies the first clutch gear just ratchets backwards, keeping it from hurting anything
Sweet build!
Where did you find that transmission kit???
+mminc81 I bought it from BMI Karts but I dont think they have them anymore
+The Fab Forums what was the name of the kit? can you find another one?
Where did you find your dual centrifugal clutch at? I love the idea of a live primary. I guess my build just got more expensive.
lol...I found it online years ago...not sure you can still get them
That sucks. Looks B.A.
Jon Mahoney Thanks...I bought the kit from bmikarts.com, you can look there and maybe shoot them an email if you dont see it.
what size tubing did you use for the frame
size of rear rim and tire?
How much pipe did you go through for the whole frame and what size pipe is it? Also, where did you get all the go kart parts for the rear axle?
Most of the tube is 1 inch except for the back bone. its 1.5. All the axle parts and brakes I got online.
I think the site was bmikarts.com
do you know what the kits hp rating is??
i know this video is old but can you sent me link of online shopping
Привет Вам!Очень красивый байк:)если не секрет не подскажете размер рамы вашего байка заранее спасибо!
Thanks for the feedback
I made the entire frame from scratch.
how long is the top bar that connects to the seat?
I would guess that its close to 2.5 feet in total length.
i know this video is old but do you know where to get that front rim and tire ?
I bought it online somewhere. maybe northern tool and equipment...
What size tube was on this chopper??
1 5/8 backbone, 1 1/2 down tube, and everything else was 1 inch
...what did you do with the 84 5.0..?
Paul Hicks I still have it. Hope to start working on getting more videos of it up soon.
Do you have the blueprints for this
I don't. I just kind of made it up as I went.
where do i get a mini chopper frame from ?
Not sure. I actually designed and hand built this entire frame and tank myself. I did however use the bearing and steering tube off an old bicycle.
TheFabForums.com i know it looks amazing brother, i have a taco mini bike but it isnt quite a chopper ;P
The taco bikes are bad ass.
TheFabForums.com whats bro im building a mini choppper myself i wanna ask you were you got your rear brakes at
