I did something similar where I started collecting Hot Toys then sold them off as I wanted the Japanese figures due to their size and articulation. However, I am now back to Hot Toys as I just want the quality and look. Collecting can change and there is nothing wrong with that as long as you don't lose money (something I did ). Also, as we get older our tastes changes too.
Be happy and do what you want.as long as you dont get in debt and your happy , thats the main thing mate. have to say your collection now looks a lot better and not cluttered etc. i to sold a lot as i needed the money being made redundant from my job in these times. nice update matey.

I mean honestly dude, even if you did sell all your stuff again sometimes that’s how collectors keep it fun for themselves. I’m constantly buying and selling stuff. Either for bills like you and the engagement ring or just because I want something else at the time.

It's your stuff man. It is 100% up to you what you keep and what you sell. I've bought and sold lots over the years. Some stuff I've regretted selling and bought again. Other stuff I don't miss at all.

Nice video 👍🏽 I had to do same thing after getting laid off and out of work for 6 months. I had to sell some awesome hot toys and now that I’m back, just trying to re buy the ones I sold and loved. Of course I’ll be paying more as they were mostly the hard to find items and it happened after I had all the Rogue One hot toys 🤦🏽♂️. One day I’ll reacquire those assets lol Life goes on and collection priorities change. Best of luck man! 🙏🏽💪🏽

What you said at the end there about pacing yourself Really hit home. I went from no hot toys in February to 65 here and more on preorder. I did cycle out a ton of other collectibles to make it happen but I definitely need to slow it down and pace myself more. Thanks for the great videos man.

When you sold off a lot of your collection, it bummed me out since you were one of the first guys I followed on here! I enjoyed all the toy hunts and videos! BUT I totally understood your reasoning, you got your priorities in order and that is what truly matters! keep doing what you love, brother! Hopefully I will catch you again at one of the Ohio shows in 2021!

Awesome video the collection is coming along nicely .That new hope leia is a wish figure for me. I've had my share of things I've sold and regretted and had to re acquire .Personally though i try to only re purchase a figure once if I sell it to save me the headache especially if it's a rare figure . I'm trying to focus on sticking to dc (mostly batman related characters ) and star wars( jedi/ sith first six movies era is the aim) .I'm kicking around the idea of selling off the other stuff but time will tell on that. Looking forward to the next video

I love the way Jordan released the Bred4s in 2019. I’m not sure why it’s such a big deal to me that the back of those kicks say NikeAir instead of having a Jumpman, but it really is a world of difference. When they retro a shoe, it has to look identical to the original release. Might be my OCD, who knows. Dug the quick look at the collection. That Mandolorian is a F@#$!N work of art.... Got me hype for that new season. So, thanks & catch you on the next one....
Having to fund your collection by selling some of your collection is normal. Some people do not need to do that but most do. No need to explain. Forgot to say, great display.

It seems pointless to collect if you're just going to sell the items and fairly quick at that. For me I collect because it's something i genuinely want in my collection. It is understandable to sell some of your collection to pay for important things but other than that why get something you eventually are going to sell. Might as well make it a purchase that you'll keep in your collection. Just my 2 cents.
