The ethical concerns are pretty diverse... not least of which is that tampering which genetic information in men can result in those genes being passed on to another generation... the alteration did not occur naturally in a population as a result of environmental pressure. So I'm not really too excited about it. Maybe when we know more? That a little 'sit on the fence' I suppose...

You are correct. However, the ban was lifted shortly after by the FDA
