5 books every man should read: "Meditations" by Marcus Aurelius, "The art of war" by Sun Tzu, "The Prince" by Niccolo Machiavelli, "La Divina Commedia" by Dante Alighieri, and "Animal Farm" by George Orwell. Meditations is for general life rules that you should abide by.. The art of war teaches strategy and logistical knowledge in both military and personal lives. The Prince teaches you how to amass and keep power. La Divina Commedia (The divine Comedy) is my personal favorite book and teaches a little bit about spirituality and love. Animal farm is a treatise about the evils of communism and not becoming the very thing you fought against. "When you stare into the abyss, sometimes it stares back into you."
Animal Farm is a critique any type of totalitarian government. Rember whae it was written (1943) and what was happening in Europe at that time. Orwell had been a member of the Communist Party in the UK but eventually saw the system for what it was; just another system of enslavement and repression not unlike the extreme right wing Fascist system employed by Hitler and Mussolini. I have read it and The Art of War many times and both are amazing reads.

For men only - Shaunti and Jeff Feldhahn Bonus: Atomic Attraction Love the recommendations. 2 was a major one for me.
Number one is a NO from me - I don’t get why people like it. To me, it’s a manual on how to be a Beta. Seriously, there’s a section where he said you should write a list/paragraphs of your dream woman, and the universe will somehow miraculously bring her into your life. He is 55, SINGLE, and has had a string of failed marriages and relationships. If you want to take advice from a guy who is basically a relationship failure then go ahead.
Thank you for your work, Sarah. I'm also loving the work Zak Roedde and Mark Binet are doing on male/female polarity. They are helping many couples. I'd love your "take" on their work.
No More Mr Nice Guy- Robert Glover The Dead Bedroom Fix-DSO Masculine In Relationship- GS Youngblood Way of the Superior Man- David Deida Discipline = Freedom- Jocko Willink
I've discovered something absolutely amazing that I notice appears to be catching on. Here's the amazing discovery, you - won't - die - without - a - relationship. Yes I know it's hard to believe.
Your positive outlook and your loving attitude are so heartwarming. You don't offer game playing, and for that you have my respect. I applaud your work. If you were closer to my age I would track you down and make you mine.
The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida is my go-to recommendation for men to read. The one book that helped me better myself as a man, aside from Mark Manson's The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F**k.
There are man, many issues with that book not the least of with the author was hooked up with a weird sex-cult. I will point you to the creepy, porn story-like line from the book: “Imagine you are driving your eighteen-year old babysitter home one evening. She is so fresh, so innocent, so alive. You can feel that she is totally open to you. You consider all the consequences. You look at her radiant skin, her clear eyes, her incredible smile....There is something unique about being with a young woman, and all men with masculine sexual essences feel it." He also literally says that when "your woman" is having an emotional fit, you should pick her up and spin her around. The subtext is to dismiss or minimize her feelings. I am not exaggerating; the middle part of the book is filled with cringey shit like this.
Sarah I have Atomic Attraction on the way right now and I bought a book you previously mentioned called Way of the Superior Man. I will be buying No More Mr. Nice Guy next. Good stuff as always 👍 👏
There are actually 6 books cited, not five. 0:55 How to be a 3% Man 2:40 No More Mr. Nice Guy 4:23 The Art of Seduction 6:35 Why Women Have Sex 8:48 Atomic Attraction 10:29 For Men Only
Although many sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are preventable, there are more than 20 million estimated new cases in the United States each year - and rates are increasing. In addition, more than 1.2 million people in the United States are living with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus). If you plan to be a player, I suggest a few books on prevention and treatment of STDs.
My five books: - On Obligations (Cicero) - On the Good Life (Seneca) - 1984 - 48 Laws of Power - Starship Troopers (book is very different from movie, much more thinking) Bonus: - Meditations (Marcus Aurelius) - Wealth of Nations, Theory of Moral Sentiments (Adam Smith)
I'm very happy to hear you have interviewed Dr Robert Glover and look forward to seeing this discussion. Are you still doing your podcast work with Attachment Adam Lane Smith? Anyway No More Mr Nice Guy would be my number 1 go to personally, I'd recommend it to any man. WIlling to read Way of the Superiour Man by David Dietta and 3% man by Coach Corey Wayne soon Thanks Sarah
The wonderful thing about Green's Art of Seduction is the lesson we learn from the seducers: You have to get outside of yourself and try to image what it is like to be the person you are seducing. Make a thorough study of her. What motivates her, what are her dreams, what are all the tiny details that she feels passionate about? Is there something you notice that she wants? Often it is something simple, a particular flower or candy- some little gift you can give. Most of us have lives of drudgery, boring stuff that we live through every day. Can you provide an escape, even a tiny one? There is much more in the book but AOS was an eyeopener. It makes the whole dating process fun!
Nice book, Sarah, but many times I get a book and rarely get 1/4 the way through. ( Like Remember Me-The Passengers and Crew of Flight 93) Still, I ordered No More Mr. Nice Guy. Many things I have done that other relationship coaches have suggested that left me with the same unsatisfactory results. As is: a connection is started, then she turns cold and literally disappears.
Always happy to get more book recommendations, thanks! Glad you like the Feldhahns' books, I really like the perspective of mutuality that by reading For Men Only and For Women Only back-to-back. The thing is, I'm kind of questioning some of the things they talk about, if you want a bit of a rebuttal on their sex sections, I'd recommend THE GREAT SEX RESCUE by Sheila Gregoire, it's kind of like a detox from the purity culture that I grew up in. Feldhahn also wrote a great book called SECRETS OF SEX AND MARRIAGE which is worth a read.
I haven't read those books, I tend to get depressed reading books like them as it shows me that I have such a long way to go it seems like an impossible goal.
Maybe YOU aren't the one who has fallen so far from the standard that it seems impossible. Sometimes books are written from the perspective of "how to spot the bad dollar bill" rather than teaching what a good one looks like.
The journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step. Maybe your library has Sara's top choice. If not, it is cheapest on Kindle, maybe free on Kindle Unlimited. One step.
I've read hundreds of books, recent reads include Albert Einstein's General Theory of Relativity and Fyodor Dostoyevsky's 'Notes from the Underground'. That said, I think all men should read the 'Mr. Men'' series by Roger Hargreaves. I highly reccomend Mr. Bump. If you want a true intellectual tour de force, try "Who moved my Cheese".
Which are the needs for women? …A world made by us(men and women leading together), into us(would you live every day without loving who you love?), for us(sharing aims and responsibility ), to us(we live in this world, not others designed worlds), and before/after us(before our eyes(Mind Heart Soul)/after our lives(we all die tomorrow)??? I’m not sure about seduction further than loyalty, faithfulness and wisdom. Everyone has books for everything, but “Who’s the one and only love of your life” is hard to write…. Better: Live to Learn, Learning to Live, Learning to Love, hoping to Love the one who shall be worthy of been given your entire lifetime… You know I love you Sarah, but I need you to dive deeper than approved recipes …❤❤❤
Gents .... books are always good. Still, RedPill wisdom still saves lives. Never belive what wmn say. Always regard what they actually do. They are highly manipulative and use our weaknesses against us. Wmn are not the victim. More likely men are. Through div courts grinder. And the rest of bad things association with them brings into a man s life. Stay safe, kings !
I really don't want to read books like those. I'd feel like I need several "lists" to remember in order to attract women. I've never been a "player", but I haven't been very lonely either. So, if a woman finds me interesting, great! If not, that's fine, and she should just move on. . .And I'm at the point where I'm OK with that. The last 5 books I've read are. . . 1. JFK and The Unspeakable - James W. Douglass 2. Hitchcock by Francois Truffaut - The Definitive Study of Alfred Hitchcock 3. The Forger's Spell - True Story of the Greatest Art Hoax of the 20th Century 4. Darkest Hour - How Churchill Brought England Back from the Brink - Anthony McCarten 5. My Lunches with Orson - Conversations Between Henry Jaglom and Orson Welles - Peter Biskind And I have just begun reading "The Big Goodbye" - Chinatown and the Last Years of Hollywood. It tells the story of the making of one of my all-time favorite films, Chinatown. In so doing it also delves into the lives and personalities of the fascinating people involved in that production. Now, that list should be a pretty good key to my interests and personality. If a woman thinks that makes me an interesting guy. . .Great! If not, that's fine. She'll just move on, and that's OK with me. Probably be the best for both of us. That's the perspective I've developed over the years, and I'm not changing it for anyone. I enjoy your videos though. You always have an interesting and thoughtful approach to things, which is something that's kind of rare these days.
The person who created and programmed men, women, marriage, family and relationships also wrote a book. But yeah, let's ignore that one. Otherwise great list. I look forward to reading the 3 I haven't bought yet.
'The Art of Power' by Thich Nhat Hanh. This book should be read by EVERYONE. Not just men. Purely focusing on the male/female relationship dynamic is a waste of time. I have NO interest in why women have sex, for example.

I'm sure they are good. Number 1 should be the Bible. There are many stories in scripture for a man and woman relationship. He created us and He explains how we behave toward each other.
If that’s the end game you’re wanting, go for it. Most men are really only looking to find that partner to walk through life and share dreams and aspirations. I don’t know that being a “playa” is fulfilling, but to each their own. I’m wanting someone in my home to come home to, and re-introduce the peace I lack when I’m working. I don’t want the drama. I get chaos for 10-12 hours daily. I’m all for de-compressing when I get home, about a 1/2 hour of down time to unwind, then time-sharing with my other half, and any rug rats who are sharing in the experience. And I’m fine with having others’ children to raise. It’s about being a good man in a good family (for me)
