@@ZeusyLove our pitty looks very much like yours....and our cat passed in May:( they were not as good friends but liked to sleep together and I think Max misses him at night when he "goes to bed" alone.

My cat is around 15 and this crosses my mind almost daily. I feel so blessed to have him, he is my soulmate... I'm hoping for another 10 years. My friends cat died at 26 so keep loving your baby and keeping your baby healthy...there's hope.
My cat is also 18yrs old. He is my best little buddy and I hope he lives forever because I don't know what I would do without him in my life.

This is heartbreaking makes me sad because my cat is 16 years old and her best friends are my 2 dogs. If one is gone none of them are sleeping they all have to be together at all times.

Ps: many gods and being could overthrow Zeus. He was strong but what made him feared was his army and his brother's support. They just preferred doing their own thing instead of administrative work. In fact, Zeus's need for autorithy is a extremely human and un-God-like of him. Probably his most human trait.

I have come to learn animals are so much more civilized than we are. They attach and mourn deeply. Their empathy can mesh with our own. The poor dog needs a warmer companion though.

That broke my heart to see him so sad, I'm sorry for the loss of kitty she was beautiful. This video proves that animals develop friendships and have strong emotions just like people. They feel things deeply and go through the grieving process. I'm glad that he has found a new friend you can see that he is much happier. My rescued pitty loves all my cats and our youngest cat is a 1 year old male that thinks she's the greatest thing on earth. They're so in love with each other and it's adorable. Such a sweet, empathetic breed. 🥰
They really are sweeties to their loved ones. My boy just recently lost his hamster buddy that he loved very much.

@@ZeusyLove I'm so sorry for your loss. My 16 year old German Shepherd passed away late last year, and every day I wake up wondering where he is. I'm just happy I was able to give him the greatest life a dog could have and know he was treated like a king everyday of his life and I'm sure your beautiful kitty thought the same about you. ❤️
Btw, I love bearded dragons. They may look all spiky and tough but they're such sweet and intelligent creatures.
@@ZERO_O7X He lived to be 16! This is so long! My Rottweiler German Shepherd also lived to be 16. Yours must’ve had enough love to get them to that age!
@@ZeusyLove He lived a truly privileged life and never spent a day neglected in his life, and I was there from the moment he took his first breath, til the second when he drew his last. It was the toughest thing I've ever experienced in my life, but I was extremely proud to be there and pull the sac off him as a newborn puppy until the moment we said goodbye. I didn't even know I would ever be strong enough to be there for moment but I could not do anything other than watch as we said goodbye. Fur babies are extremely special and deserve more credit than many people give them. That's why I feed strays everyday of my life and keep food in my car just in case I encounter a new baby. I subbed to your your channel and will be watching everytime you post a new video. Thank you so much for sharing your family with the world because it means so much to a lot of us. ❤️

I amazed at what kinds of animals can become friends, even lizards and fish appear to seek and provide comfort to others in the right environment. What seems the least likely animal friendship? Maybe sharks and orcas?

When one of my dogs passed, my other dog was the same looking all over the house for her, checking the cars when they would get home, at first extremely anxious, then just depressed.
It’s so sad!
My old cat Maggie never liked other dogs or cats or people for that matter (except for me of course) but when I got my bearded dragon Hugo she was curious and I think actually liked him. She would lay on the floor and just watch him and sniff him. Hugo would get worked up a bit and turn black but for the most part they were cool with each other.

Please adopt another cat for him. Yes he & Roscoe have formed a companionship of sorts but he's clearly longing for someone warm & furry that's big enough for him to cuddle up with & who will fulfil the deeper needs that Kitty fulfilled such as bonding through grooming each other & sharing body heat. He has a sort of companionship here but the void clearly hasn't & won't be filled. There was an understanding with the cat & a mutual need being fulfilled. I'm sure when you aren't home Roscoe is in his heated tank, not curled up with him reassuring & comforting him. A lizard won't groom him in a maternal way like your cat did.

I believe that they mourn just like we do. We had two dogs one was older than the other and when Savannah the older died, Maggie mourned for months but we were also mourning we should have gotten her another friend and maybe Maggie wouldn't have died 8 months after Savannah.
