Heya, I'm a tester of this mod. So you're new, well, you're going to experience hell. First of all, in this mod you survive as much as you can, you can't win against them, it's not vanilla friendly so you can use some mods to help you like Spartan Weaponry or Mr Crayfish Guns. I'm going to give you some tips so you know how they work and what they do, but I'm not telling you anything you didn't see yet: - The black silverfish is the Buglin, an inoffensive parasite that will evolve into the Rupter, despite just running away, it can infect any mob it touches. - The Rupter is the small foe with tentacles you see often, they run away if they're alone, but if they have allies near, they will fight you. They can leap, climb and give slow debuff. They can leave a black cloud near passive creatures, it means the Rupter infected them, they will turn into parasites later, so kill them. - You can get infected too, you get the debuff Call of the Hive, it does nothing to you, but if you die, an assimilated version of you appears. - They're weak to fire, this is very important, it deals 4x dmg against parasites. - They have evolution phases, it means they gain points by killing and infecting to unlock stronger parasites. You remember that ominous ONE that appeared in the chat? That means you're in phase 1 out of 8. - You should make a good base in strategic places such as in oceans, in the sky or in the Nether, never do it undergound. - Water will help you, not much, but you can deal with them easier, specially when there's an assimilated enderman attack. With this I think I covered a lot of stuff, any doubts you can tell me here, if you make another video, I will answer the questions you will get there, it's a really big mod and very complex. Fun fact, it's a beta, there's still so many things to do, the next update will be the most scary one!

hey girl if u want a chill modpack where you can adventure and fight dungeons like RL craft (but not as stressful), with a mix of the better minecraft modpack- try rogue like adventures and dungeons 2, its so fun imo

played this mod with some other mods in a modpack with friends for fun, we have attempted like 8 times and have not gotten past stage 5? i think?? ((we call it our hell pack))
@@lapisfluff ok than just gona say this just make the uuuuuh tier i think idk how its called but get past 2 and things will start to be intresting the more lvl thingy it has the more dificult it gets AND the more intresting stuff spawns good luck :)
@coofilol they're called phases, phase 2 is when rupters start attacking outside of groups and switch from gassing mobs to infect them to just killing them to infect them, and when mobs start completing the infection process without needing to take damage to decloak.
Scape and Run Parasites is the HARDEST mod that isnt a mod pack but this mod seems outdated of the Scape and Run. I recommend using forge for this mod because the modpack is up to date and the ai for the ruptor should be fixed and the buglin holes in that cave looks out of date or I'm out of touch from scape and run parasite😮💨

Would be really fun to watch since every run you die atleast 100+ times lol, commented this because there's a dimension with the parasites mod called lost cities, except the parasites are harder then this.. it's pain lol, i play on their public server, which you can get to by just clicking multiplayer and direct connect. One problem is that dungeons are raided most of the time..! lol.
The reason why, to make armor & stuff of course! because that will help you a lot more than the current version's weapons & armor (locked by creative unless you make a 'location' with the armor)
By the way lapis, Remember to consult the wiki (even if it doesn't show all the info) to stop complaining. Besides, that will not *kill* the parasites' but just make them _ignore_ it evenly, But nonetheless you could use the add-ons & handle-type weapons to fight against them to survive.

i rescommend using Nocube scape and run Combat Addon Its very usefull its uses parasites drop and make tools and weaponry.

I had so many cows and sheeps in my farm when i went to kill some of them, they became parasites and that started a fucking chain reaction

For the hive more play make the hive bigger for the hive join the hive be the hive.
imaginr this paired with lycanites or the wither storm mod. Wont even last five minutes in lycanites 😭

Idk if you know but the parasites have a rank system that grows when they assimilate mobs (Goodluck lmao)

Not gonna lie, this mod looks tedious as all hell lmao. I'd personally prefer more From The Fog Content.
