Pete Bell was on vacation in Tenerife, sitting on a beach most of the time. Now he's returned to the UK and is breaking his back trying to get 3 restorations finished for the Christmas season. Hook is killing me.
Ray, you are correct about the 4130. Back in the 80s, the good BMX bikes were made of 4130 chromoly. To that end, for old school BMXers, 4130 represents more than a type of metal.
The inside of that Gangbusters looks amazing.
Mike, if you do end up doing the decals on the BK2K inserts, then I'd like to see your before/after results and opinions on them, as well as any pointers you may have. My Earthshaker inserts are worn and any input from experts is appreciated.
I'll be in your neck of the woods next week for work. Maybe I'll see Ray in the WAR van... I'll honk and wave. Ray, just so you know it was me, I'll do a 5 finger wave instead of the normal local single finger wave people around there are fond of.

I have seen my share of trash in the bottom of pin cabinets, but I have to say, I have never found old batteries. Didn't Ray say in one of his RTT videos that the vapors from the leaking battery can cause as much damage as the alkaline? I guess route guys didn't care about the long term life of the machine, they just wanted their quarter until the next new title came out.
Are you going to sell those promo plastics as a lot on Ebay? I am interested in the Sorcerer, that is one of the pins on my want list.

Black Knight 2000 has the greatest music in a pin, totally cheesy in the best of ways. The Gang Busters is beautiful! What they did with mechanical elements and lighting is beyond cool. The first arcade game I remember playing was a similar machine where you were shooting Manta Rays... Sea Devil?

And I would love to sponsor you guys I have a problem with money and having problems with machines here multiplying as well I have 4 total now one is a piece I am getting fixed for a friend which he is wanting to sell it to me and I am thinking I should just sell if for him.
And Mike should not feel bad about the mylar thing on my H-S restore I had damage from that as well but it looked worse with that crap on it was all dirty and starting to come up and bubbling.
It still looked alright there is always going to be art work damage from that damn mylar and I will always take off mylar as it makes the ball hop or slows the damn ball down.
I still need to take off some of the mylar on my LaserCue that only has 1 or two pieces though so I have left it.
Which reminds me my first video game and pinball machine expo I will have my LaserCue out on the floor would have loved if LC, H-S and Space Mission were working but maybe next year.
But at least having the 1 machine out and my card in the card apron slot that there might be some hits that some one will use me after seeing how nice and clean it is.
And I am also wondering if I can prank the staff and open up the game while the show is going and open up the coin door hah.
But most likely will not do that since it gets packed fast.
But at least I can challenge people on my own machine and not suck to badly. xD

just need the sling plastic for BK2000, I thought you were trying to make things hard. I want to buy those plastics if you list them on the ebay store. As much as hate to say this because you guys are entertaining, take a week off from the videos. you guys work to hard and deserve a break. Just the video though i still need your 12 hrs+ a day, 7 days a week.i'm a nice guy, but not that nice.
