@@titaninthedeep Well, the first thing I thought was if you got any fishing in. Answered. I haven't played against this legion yet. Maybe I will if I go to the upcoming College Station tournament. I like any force that has weird movement rules. They seem fun to play. Makes one wonder why I painted up dwarves. Anyway, this is what I like to see from a LL. Themey. Represents a cool point from the books or movies. Competitiveness doesn't interest me overly much.
I did get some fishing in. I caught about 15 small mount and large mouth bass over the period of 4 days. One was about 3lbs, so that was a good time! And I hope you get to play more games soon. We have a tournament coming up in Nashville this Saturday and I'm bringing a new army. I'm hoping to cause some problems! hahaha! I may put up some of the content on my channel. I have a ton of other videos I want to get to, including my next Defense of the North LL review. I'll probably have a special guest for that episode!
It's an interesting legion; personally I don't think I'll ever run it because I think I'd opt for the alliance so that I can take 1) better orcs, 2) monsters, 3) war beasts, and 4) more heroes (including winged nazgul), and I feel like the options I get from the alliance are better than the special bonuses I get from the legion. I like that it's heavily themed, and I love running theme, but I think I could get the same punch but with more if I take standard Mordor with Dark Denizens
A lot of people feel the same way about it. I guess if you have a lot of elves in your regions meta it's probably a strong army. It can also be deceptively fast if you have boards with a lot of woodland terrain.
Nice. Waking up with some coffee, a pipe, and a new MESBG video. My day is off to a good start.
Ha! I haven't even started publishing and posting this video yet. I'm glad you're already being entertained though. Lol
@@titaninthedeep I must be in some sort of time loop then. Must have packed my pipe with something other than tobacco.
@@briarsandbantams Ha! Would love to get your feedback on the army and video! Thanks brother!
