2022 12 03 The Mangrove forest, Cartagena Colombia

While staying in Cartagena we had the chance of visiting the Mangrove forest by canoe. There is a very big lagoon near Cartagena, which is filled with salt water by the Caribbean. An the cost near the Sea, there is a large Mangrove forest, with thousands of birds hiding in the leaves.
Πολύ κοντα στην Καρταχένα εκτείνεται μια λιμνοθάλασσα που τροφοδοτείται με αλμυρό νερό από την Κραϊβική. Στις όχθες της λιμνοθάλασσας που βρίσκονται κοντά στον ωκεανό, έχει αναπτυχθεί ένα δάσος από Μανγκρόβιες. Είχαμε την ευκαιρία να επισκευθούμε αυτό το δάσος και να πλεύσουμε ανάμεσα στα δένδρα με κανώ.

Are there Mangoes in a mangrove? Nice tour!

No they are not. From what I know Mangoes need hot weather but not so much humidity. This whole area is constantly flooded. The roots are always beneath the water.
