Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi, the 13th-century mystic poet, was truly one of the most passionate and profound poets in history. Now, today his presence still remains strong, due in part to how his words seem to drip of the divine, and startle a profound remembrance that links all back to the Soul-Essence.

A guide has entered this life in silence.
His message is only heard in silence.
Take a sip of his precious wine
And lose yourself.
Don’t insult the greatness of his love,
For he helps all those who suffer, in silence.
Polish the mirror between the breaths.
Go with him, beyond words.
He knows your every deed.
He is the one
who moves the wheel of heaven, in silence.
Every thought is buried in your heart;
He will reveal them one by one, in silence.
Turn each of your thoughts into a bird
And let them fly to the other world.
One is an owl, one is a falcon, one is a crow.
Each one is different from the others
But they are all the same in silence.
To see the Moon that cannot be seen
Turn your eyes inward
and look at yourself, in silence.
In this world and the next,
Don’t talk about this and that;

I think both have very different views. Rumi's ground of ideology is islam, but osho's is materialism or atheism

Believe or not, every religion is branch of same tree, which started by Adam(AS) first prophet and ended up on Prophet Muhammad (SAW), Rumi teachings are grounded towards love of Allah, staying silence means explore your God, there is only one Allah who created everything....

I think the silence is so that we can hear when God speaks to us. Because his voice will come to us out of the seeming silence of our inner "mind voice," not out of the booming thunder. That is why great mystics, prophets and sages have always gone into deserts and wildernesses; in order to hear the voice of God speaking from the silence. Because in the silence of those places God's voice seems more loud. Remember God is inside us... The bible reminds us, Psalms 46;10 ...Be still (in your thoughts, and actions) and know that I am God!!

Rumi’s poetry is about finding love in your inner depths and drawing so much closer to those we love and He who has created them. It is also about learning to love ourselves, value ourselves as a reflection of His love, as light bearer’s to our earth

Words spoken from the depths of the soul. Such rare, magnificent recitals from that place, which cannot be found or seen, it shows us how incredibly stupid MOST humans have been with their words and idle gossip….throughout the centuries.

Only in silence you can be one with god without the noice of the mind. The mind is being given to you once you can be a no mind you can go back to your original self a no mind just silence

THE HEART
Centuries ago, Mevlana wrote in Persian in his famous rubaî (so much so that Persian was considered the language of poetry at that time and many Turkish poets wrote in Persian) and he said that;
“Bîgâne megîrid merâ z’in kûyem
Der kûy-i şumâ hâne-i hod mîçûyem
Düşmen neyem er çend ki düşmen rûyem
Aslem Türk’est egerçi Hindî mîgûyem”
If we write this in modern language, this is:
“Do not consider me a stranger in this village. I am looking for my home in your town. Although I look hostile, I am not an enemy. Even if I write in Persian, my origin is Turkish.
In other words (he said that), “Don't keep me from this village, I'm looking for my own house in your village. Although I am an enemy, I am not an enemy, even though I speak Hindi, my origin is Turkish,”
So, he wrote that openly that he is Turkish.
silence .... Silence your silence is bothering dear
A guide - doesn't refer to God (Divine light), but refers to a perfect master (God's incarnation), divine light is formless, the perfect master is god in form (as a human being). His message is of showing god within.
The majority of us will understand "Wine" as an external drink. It is not the wine Rumi is referring to. External wine brings intoxication but takes us to lower consciousness, whereas internal nectar/wine which we can drink while meditating (post receiving initiation from a perfect master) takes us to the higher consciouness.
He helps all, in silence - God always helps even sometimes by giving difficult situations so as to save us from invisible and longer pain in hindsight.
Polish the mirror between breaths - here the mirror is our soul, when we immerse ourselves in the word of God, which is beyond languages, then our past karmas or deeds get burnt in the fire of meditation, that is what means by polishing of the mirror.
While meditating let all birds fly - owl signifies actions committed in ignorance, crow signifies wrong actions committed knowingly, falcon signifies good deeds done but with ego. Let's go beyond all three forms and be one with silence.
Turn your eyes inward - a straightforward way of saying go inside in deep meditation, see yourself (we are also divine light, part of the whole (God)). We don't see ourselves in a mirror we just see the body that we have adorned.
Lastly - don't talk about this and that meaning duality of this creation, day and night, good and bad, mine and others, etc. etc., go past that, because everything is one shining divine light rest all is an illusion.
It's all about experiencing not just words.

How does one go silent so he_ she can see everything in silence
Meditation
Only through dhir calling the name of Our Lord in mediation saying La ilaha illallah NOTHING EXCIST BUT ALLAH ! He live in us , in the beginning it was a word , the word was with Allah and Allah is the word .
Then again not only saying it in meditation but knowning its meaning will make you listen in silence when he teach's you in silence and also give you the third eye to see through every thing and be compassionate about it. This is real peace of mind and contentment, he fill's the void you will never empty as if something is missing .
