There are a lot of us fathers who were not even remotely like these words - but to the ones who were : wake up. Believe me , your sons and daughters need you. Dads are just as important as Moms.
I feel this because of me being his only daughter when my mom left my bio dad and now he is remarried to my step mother and had my little sister and my two brothers. He was in and out of my life and I was always the one trying to have him in my life
But I am glad to have a step father who is a better dad than my bio father and my step father I call my dad even though he came into my life when I was 14 and the last 4 years he has shown me that a dad can stay

My husband doesn't have a relationship with his daughter. This hit me hard. He was there but then he wasn't.
my dad left me when i was born and i grew up without my dad, when i got 14 he sent me letters and gifts... i don't forgive him.
