Ive been moid reading bc last month I had 7 bookclubs/buddyreads which sucked quite a bit of fun out of the month.
Ive only been in the mood for historical fiction so my last 7 books have taken place between 1194 and 1347 and my one buddy read is in 1877 which isn't too far from where i want to be at the moment.
The one thing I just found that came out 3 days ago is Karmilla by Luna Fury which is my fav smut author retelling my fav classic vampire story.

I do have a bunny book on my tbr, if you've ever seen the old movie Harvey about the guy who sees a giant invisible rabbit, I just learned its based on a book by Mary Chase
I hear you. It can get discouraging when a book feels like an obligation. Historical fiction is fun! What's your favorite? I adore Vampire stories 😍!! I might have to check out the bunny book. It sounds interesting!
