I love how the water in the foreground came out - beautifully calm and flat with great reflections - oops, I wrote that before you were finished. You gave it some motion. Nice painting.
I really find your work rather amazing, it's simply baffling how you can pick up a paint brush and create such beautiful pieces of art. Although I'm not really good at painting or drawing, myself; I really enjoy watching your videos and learning from them. There's something about your videos that are so peaceful too. I think.some should support his only 5 dollar vids. He's doing all these lessons for free. Also, to some who say he's acting like.Bob Ross, the dialogue of the technique is same, and so what, he's got the easel and brushes!! We all hope to have the.easel and use the same brushes ,they are the best for this technique, as well.as the easer. Get on to another channel if.you don't like anything here. Hello Jason, I have discovered your channel recently as I intend to teach myself the wet on wet painting technique. I like the paintings that you did especially with a black canvas. I would like to suggest a motive that may be interesting. It is called „Sverd i fjell“. These are 3 swords made of stone. It is a monument located in the area of Stavanger (Norway) I used to work in that area for a couple of months. Maybe you can paint them in the moonlight or with a thunderstorm. In general the Norwegian fjords are fine landscapes. Best Regards from Germany. Satoshi

He`s actually a lot better than Bob Ross! Not that I don`t like Bob Ross and his art. I`ve learned much from our highly respected Devil-slapper himself! And I`m sure even Bob himself would`ve been agreed with me, with a smile on his face! -Jason Bowen can paint Portraits- any animal you want him to paint, and give him a ref. photo, and he`ll paint it after to the last highligt-stroke! - but, of course, we all have our fav teachers. And I´m glad I´m openminded enough to learn from other artist and not only from B.R. Cause, I`d like to paint more than just trees and mountains too.
No offence Jason. You seem like a really nice guy but this Bob Ross style of painting is total crap. I mean like, what planet is this on? Absolutely no semblance to reality. The trees, bushes, grass, water etc. definitely not on this planet. Starting with a complete black canvas too, ??????????? Actually depressing sorry.
Anyway, seems like some people like it
