On June 21st 2024, we celebrated the end of THE bEAR's 9th season of true personal stories with our friends, fans and family coming together at the beautiful historic Theater im Delphi in Berlin, Germany.
Ten Favorite storytellers from the last 10 shows explored stories on the theme The Crack - stories that let the light in.
Ingo Reinhardt came from Hamburg to design and run the lights;
James Harper on piano and all dressed up in his tuxedo;
Nadine Kaufmann was our stage manager keeping everything and everyone in flow backstage;
I was joined by my two show hosts and podcast friends, Wendy Husser and Deepanker Dua;
behind the cameras were Michael Rost and his son David;
these images were captured by the photographer and dear friend Emmi Mascher;
Thank you to our team of volunteers - it's because they help out every month that the show is even possible: they believe in THE bEAR's mission to connect our communities through stories; thanks to all the 91 storytellers who dared to put their names in the hat and came on stage this season to share their stories with us; , and thank you to our audience for supporting us with your ticket donations and most of all for listening with your ears and heart.
We're taking a summer pause to tank up on inspiration and ideas how to make our 10th season even better.
