I just would like to thank you so much for your informative and helpful videos, you are a wonderful teacher and I love you show the process and all your tips and tricks. Wonderful, thank you so much.
oh i wish id sern this last week when l was struggling to make a 50th wedding anniversary card, l loved the gold embossed on the black and l have the same or very similar stamp. Also thank you to whoever it was that asked to see the whole process, its so helpful to see warts and all. 😅 end results stunning as always, thank you christine for passing on your tips, the prit stick is a gem of an idea. If you watch the video back you will ser the die moved on the stamped sentiment before you started cutting, so frustrating that l couldn't just call out and tell you. 😅😅
I love seeing all your little tips and tricks....especially using your pokey tool to accurately locate the cutting channel on your trimmer when lining up a die cut to trim it.
I've been looking for videos of yours that I haven't seen and came across this one which I've enjoyed very much. Interestingly, I placed an order for the first time from The Greetery this morning. What a strange world we live in! Hope your holiday is fabulous. We're getting a lot of rain here with much more in the forecast.
Thank you so much Christine, I really really enjoyed watching you creating another amazing and stunning card. And yes some very very useful tips and tricks too. Especially the one where you used the cut out to position the small sentiment before cutting it out, that’s a brilliant tip too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Just now watching this video from a year ago. The card is lovely. One hint I’ve found helpful for stamped diecuts is to cut the shape first then put a piece of scrap paper in the stamping platform and stamp your image on that. Then being careful not to move the stamped image, layer the negative of diecut over the stamped image and put your diecut into the negative hole. It comes out perfectly every time. It’s also great if you’re making multiples of the same image.
@@Chrissieannie that’s similar to the process I use except that I secure a piece of scrap paper in my platform, stamp the image on that, then position the “jig” over the image and put my diecut into the jig. I’ve had better luck with that rather than putting the stamp into the jig. Sometimes I find that the photopolymer stamps tend to stick to my finger so it’s hard to prevent them from moving before I get them onto the door of my platform. That seems to be more of a problem when the stamp is very small. I do love your videos. You have such beautiful ideas.
Yeah!! I found the video I’d been looking for…. I couldn’t recall the background stamp you’d used….lol The joys of getting older …. my memory isn’t as good but on the bright side of that…. I can’t remember that I was upset or who it did/said something “not very kind”…Therefore, I find I’m always happy and never upset by anyone longer than 5 minutes (or less if I’m busy)…😂 All in all I believe it’s a good trade off.
Christine I’m a newbie and love your Chanel. I like simple cards I think yours are elegant. But I wish you would list your measurements and supplies below your videos. Like where to get the magnet tweezers your dies etc. I’m not a newbie to card making just to your Chanel. Thanks so much.
I’m glad you like my videos.. I’m not really understanding that people want to know things about what I use… I don’t necessarily use things that are still being produced and so couldn’t give info on where to get them, I think people might prefer me to spend my time on actually making the videos and not stalking through websites to find where products might be sourced… this would vary from continent to continent of course. You mentioned the magnetic tweezers I believe I mentioned that they were from Crafters Companions I also got some with my Spellbinder’s Glimmer hot foil machine… I don’t know where you live but you should be able to find them somewhere online. I’m on holiday for a couple of weeks at the moment so don’t want to spend too much time online. I hope this helps a little 😃
@@Chrissieannie thanks for answering so quickly. I understand you use some older supplies. I would like to get pictures of your finished cards for me to copy and have on hand to reference while I’m making my card. Again I love your card ideas. L
I’m also trying to find the video where you explained how you cut and frame your point of interest. It appears to have several layers and I believe you cut a square prior …. But, I may be totally wrong… As memory serves me (which isn’t the best) I recall you explained this because several people had requested it…. If I’m not clear I apologize and will keep searching….😂
I just found your channel - I have binge watched so many of your videos, thank you so much for all you have taught me. I cannot believe how much you sound and act like I do; although I have many more screw ups than you. Thank you again for all your videos - will be looking forward to many more - videos that is.
I too have just discovered your channel, I love the style of your cards and also the details that you show.I have learned so much already, can't wait to try some of these ideas for myself, thanks.
Ruth Standefer here again. I had to make the musical butterfly birthday card for a dear friend that plays a harp. Also love the thanks card that was a slim line card. I making it tomorrow. I like your white on white. Was that basil card stock you used on the thanks card? I like the sentiment with dies you used on the thanks card. Who made the sentiment set used on that. You can’t always find the dies with the sentiments. AGAIN MANY THANKS. Ruth
The script sentiments are from The Greetery. I use linen cardstock from Papermill Direct or Syntego.co.Uk. The latter sells it on Amazon.com. www.amazon.com/dp/B075MCPR7D?ref=myi_title_dp
Enjoyed watching....and the Cuttlebug is my favorite. The real old all green one. The suctioning to my countertop is what keeps it at the top of my list. The card is simple yet impactful. And, I have that Tim Holtz leaf die.....somewhere!
