He did follow his passion for country, what he represents is the epitome of what America is about. Freedom to choose, supposedly, he spoke about girls that he thought were loyal that he wanted to be with but they obviously didn't feel the same. So it's not really his choice who he ended up with when you really think about it, he was getting what he could like he's said before. America is the illusion of freedom of choice. You can't really choose freely anywhere, you can always try though. His life is probably a perfect example of it.

The early Jabbers stuff is so good, my favorite song being 'Automatic' and I also love the album with Antiseen.. GG recorded so many amazing songs I don't think anything could be called the best because it's all so different. Pretty much every album stands on its own.. And he was such prolific writer, it seems wrong to count covers as his best work..

Well, the actual inspiration for GG dong this track was Patsy Cline's version, even though Walker wrote it. We were listening to her a lot when he was staying at my place. One day he picked up the acoustic guitar and started singing it. Razor jumped in and provided the backing vocals. GG was a big fan of Patsy Cline. Well, the actual inspiration for GG dong this track was Patsy Cline's version, even though Walker wrote it. We were listening to her a lot when he was staying at my place. One day he picked up the acoustic guitar and started singing it. Razor jumped in and provided the backing vocals. GG was a big fan of Patsy Cline.
