Ahhhhh!!! Here in western Canada we have the American Dipper, one of my favourite birds. I thought it was the only one, and i didnt think anyone else cared. Amazing
For the last couple of months I've made several sightings per week of a solitary male dipper in the stream which runs through my village. Today, for the first time, I saw him together with a female standing on a flat rock in the middle of the stream. They did a little bobbing dance togther. Maybe they will breed.. I was very happy to see this.
