A-26's were employed in the Bay of Pigs and it would be fun to fly one of these great plans and win the conflict this time.

Well, if I'm free... sure, you can fly in Coop. There is one 120min. sortie for 8 110's, one 70 minute sortie for 8 110's... I might be free friday to monday, but gotta prepair for them exams ... (though knowing how lazy I am, I'll sure find some time ^^; )

You need to download HyperLobby which is the multiplayer server portal for many older flight sim games including IL-2 1946.
Most populated and active server is the Battlefields.com 1 server, which rotate maps and scenarios.
There are also servers for players running the various mod packages.
.50s worked just fine with B-25s vs. Japanese ships.....
I've downloaded and played the mission. I have to say that i did enjoy it quite a bit, but could you add a Mission briefing of some kind in future mission. Just adds to the immersion in my opinion. Great video though.
Yep, i can add briefings in future missions. I don't write briefings in most cases, because i don't need them for selfmade missions ;D

Does the visual mod you use allow the footage of the destroyer at 6:57, or did you use a static camera. How did you get footage without any sort of HUD on the screen?
The visual mod allows you to look at ground objects, but in this case, i used a static camera. You could disable subtitles and other hud in the conf.ini for ages, since 4.12 you can simply do that in the options menu.
What type of armament does your plane have? Guessing 8 .50 calibers in the nose, 2 .50 cal. in dorsal turret, 2 .50 cal. in the ventral turret, and 10 rockets. Are the 6 guns in the wings 50 caliber also?
Yes, but a typical A-26 could carry 14x 5" HVAR rockets

My computer's specifications are given in the video description. You can use the maximum settings, the game is 15 years old. If you want to know which settings work best for Nvidia, there is a wiki site for the il-2 conf.ini.
If I know that the game is old and this mods ... and every time better ... I have played a lot but always with stops ... and also I see that there are many planes in flight and you do not give them stops. .. that's why I'm going to change my computer. Yes, they are. Multiple versions are flyable.
Too bad the Invader isn't in the vanilla game, as they were in widespread use by the USAAF during the final 9 months of WWII.

Too bad the mod doesnt include all thr loadout options for the A-26. In reality it could carry a pair of standard torpedoes in the bomb bay. Those would have made short work of the convoy.
How did you record multiple angles of the same actions?
il-2 got a replay feature, i used that.
A26 invader was great american bomber attack ww2 plane, powered by two r2800 engines and armed with machine guns bombs and rockets

Banking in to the dead engine with a B-25 is lethal, I tried that myself on Il2 1946. I had expected the A-26 to behave the same way - to crash

None, it's stock, you just have to enable it in conf.ini (switch to OpenGL first) by changing the "water=" line to 4 or 5 I believe (don't remember, been a while).
