1999 edition of Ebony Fire was the best to me Ive seen a lot of old footage of them from that year. Did you see the bands field show, if so what did you think?

+Entize Couser honestly it doesn't have anything to do with conferences.. its more of popularity of bands. my thing is recruiting up north is very weak compared to bands like SU and JSU..
+htycvc Va is barely the south. most people in VA don't consider it to be the south. I'd say VA is middle along, not north or south, along with the rest of the DMW
The originators of the Neck....imitated.....Hampton started playing Neck in the early 1980's. It took a minute, because it was a CIAA thing, but thanks to UA-cam, and other outlets there are d iffernt variations. I am glad that Hampton has stayed true to their original form of the song that they used, and YES, back in the day it was 5 minutes long with the Sadines and Pork n beans remix.

okay here goes the truth...They need to have some kind of law enforcement because those girls are going to kill someone with those elbows. I see they trying not to dance to sluty but if Southern can make it work for them and rank number 1 for 2013 season i know it can work for yall. They can do and look alot better than what they doing. The stand routine need to laid at the altar for someone to pray over em cause they are no good! They just need a Fresh start, and its no T no shade to them because i don't know them but, feel if they have the right person to train them then they would be good.
You have to realize the difference from Southern and Hampton... You should never compare Ebony Fire to the Dancing Dolls... That like Comparing TnSU Sophisticated Ladies to JSU J-Settes... Hampton is from the north which as a whole different feel than the south... Personally their still makes them different and I feel like they're good just the way they are...
No I'm not comparing, I see potential in each one of them. It need to be brush up and polish. I've seen lot of team that from the north and they are killing em. With a squard with soo much potential go to waste is a let down.
B'ham Bamaboi Maybe if they got a new coordinator, and brought someone in with something fresh and new it would help. Their stands may not be all that but Ebony Fire did good on the field this year.

Actually, I marched with the Force when Ebony Fire was created in the 80s, making it one of the first -if not THE first dance squad in when Hampton was still in the CIAA. Show some neutrality. That's all.

Ebony Fire still has good shows, but their stands need to be revamped SERIOUSLY. The Ebony Fire of 1999 would kill them ins. Still love em though.
