You never got around to a part deux, but this was the most fun camera/lens video I've ever seen! I'm currently awaiting my second Konica 40mm, the first was a hazy mess.
thanks for watching and leaving a comment. i liek to have fun creating these lens reviews. although this 4omm is not my work horse lens choice i use it when needed. if you have any lens reviews please send me a link i'd love to learn something from you @matthew_capowski cheers from atlanta ga usa
This was a blast. Yesterday, like you, I found my 40 also on the same body, with a pile of goodies like another lens, camera case, lens cases, tiffen filter, lens cleaner, tissues, (I think that's a hood..folded up) all by not typing in 40mm 1.8 but just Konica..more leg work, but there it was for $29.95. and cheap shipping. Of course, Salvation Army in the wasteland... Poor pics, but that Tiffen filter was a tell. You mentioned in this you were going to talk about a wide angle attachment. Wha' happened? Part two? I hope you're ok.. Thanks for the ride. And where did she get those glasses?
many thanks to you malibrary7053 for wathching and leaving a comment. as a micro four thrids shooter using these vintage lenses give a filmic stylized look in my opinion. the sercet i've found is knowing when and why to use these kinds of lenses on a project. if you have any lens reviews or gear reviews i'd love to watch and learn something from you. cheers from atlanta ga usa.
Gerard G! Thanks for the comment man. Please know that part 2 is curretnly in the works. Since this last video post, I was lured and captivated by the likes of the Kamlan lens line 50mm, 21mm, 58mm and 32mm. Not for sure if you know about this Kamlan but rest assured I will put you up on some game G. Thank man, from Atlanta GA USA!
@@medallionmotionpictures I like your style & your pace & your use of old tv-ads, the hints of irony in your soothing voice, please finish Part 2 anyhow ;) - greetings from Hamburg, Germany (okay, I already own that lens, anyway!)
@@bulboes Thanks my friend from across the globe. I appreciate your watching & comments. I will defiantly finish part 2. This is a hobby that I enjoy creating entertaining & informative lens reviews.
Well made video, breath of fresh air from the countless geriatrics slowly talking into the camera
More of that!
Great editing on this bro

I just bought one of these. Great video man, thanks for this. ❤ Ps. You are crazy btw, I do like your style.
Great intro and video! I have and like this lens also. 40mm is one of my favorite focal lengths. The bokeh can be a bit funky.
