@@yourvideoisboring2660 Yes, partially true. Non-Indic faiths being foreign ( middle-east origin ) will always have their allegiance's outside Bharat. And since their belief tells them only their path is one true path, all the rest are infidels/heathens who will burn in hellfire after death, they can never truly accept the Hindu as their kith and kin. Its the cold hard truth. Rarely 10-15% of the Non-Indic faith truly embrace Bharat, for the rest deep down they resent us. These are some uncomfortable truths I have had to digest over the years. Sad, but it is what it is.
Incredible discussion. Having Jai Sai Deepak in itself is a incentive big enough to view this discussion. However, of the 32 minutes of the discussion only the last 5 minutes actually threw light on how AI contends with IP. The print should either change the heading of this discussion or they should have elongated the discussion beyond the 32 minutes offered to us.
Ipr should be put on philosophy art culture influence without giving reference to indian culture and doing cultural digestion needs to be stopped ✋️ Also thanks print for bringing sai deepak
The print hosting JSD? Good to see the acceptance of intelligence without the bias of left and right leanings. And JSD as usual is clear, confident in his wisdom and knowledge.
Lovely interview conducted by The Print. J.Sai Deepak as always is a pleasure to listen to. Intellectual Property is a vast area. He discussed some interesting situations here related to IP.
Catering all sorts of professional, it's so natural, why The print is growing steadily. Cut the clutter is a public service through youtube for us students, the detailed unbiased view of Shekhar sir and the back end team's research, it's possibly the best monologue news show in India(I am not into news, so i could be biased). kudos to all the other shows collectively to @Theprintindia . No suggestions, only wishes. Thank you.
Wow the way Apurva mandani is listening jai sai and other anchor , she is cute 😍 ❤️. Love her cuteness and patience level. Only speak for 1st instance after 15 min
I know its unbelievable but true. Taking left-liberals (as famously Tharoor) and Islamists (eg. Owaisi) to cleaners is just his side work. This is his core competency. 😊
Finally someone made use of his core competencies. Always Had some questions which never asked got answered here... Like there is site(electronic lib. ) which provide free books but used to got banned in India. And photocopy OMG I was involved in illegal activities all my student life. I have many books in photocopy forms.
Good episode, first time watching Law of Land. Just a suggestion to de clutter your background, the screen looks very busy, esp when I turned on CC to keep up with pace of J Sai Deepak.
Sai one clarification-as a reader of books which I always like to own and read now I don’t find the need to buy them and I find free pdf full version on the net which I can download freely and read on my system. Are these free downloads allowed by law and am I allowed to download freely and read? Very old books written 100 years back are no longer in print but available in pdf form.
In case of original literary, dramatic, musical, and artistic works the time period of copyright in India is 60 years in addition to the author's lifespan. Where there are multiple authors, the term is 60 years post the death of the last author.
This is the first time I have watched a video featuring this man without cringing. Thanks to the interviewers for actually bringing him for a subject that he is well versed in. Informative video.👍🏼
It's a human thing to feel this way. Because in areas of politics where the public is involved to a great extent , it doesn't matter even if the person talking about it is qualified/expert in that subject, because ultimately the public has its own biases ,which results in one set of public whose views overlaps with that individual ending up endorsing him, and the other side not liking him. But on matters in which the public has little knowledge (take for this topic on IPR), we tend to keep our biases aside and listen with greater attention.
@@prakyathprakash5180 Absolutely. Politics is something which has a wider scope than IPR and requires a more nuanced discussion.I tried to keep my biases away and listen to what he was speaking and for the first time he has made sense atleast to me.

What makes you think that you're competent to tell what others should or should not talk about? At least he's achieved so much in life what have you achieved? Interesting. Not only IPR but the entire law database can be linked to AI based apps. We can see extension of this to case laws and judgements which will ensure quick disposal of judgements. Currently the main worry is the delay. Imagine a state when few cases are pending in courts. Also AI can help in frivolous suits and counter suits. Means the centralized app acts as a filter and does not entertain filing of the cases! Reform will change the entire system, the professionals. It is high time the entire system should go high tech, atleast in our landscape.
Yes, but are you aware that there are specific Lawyers who file frivolous petitions in SC knowingly.. They are paid to do this, and they will be the first ones to oppose the implementation of AI in Judiciary. These Lawyers are infamous for filing PILs in almost every case whenever govt takes an executive decision.
Agree that AI by itself is not "sentient" (so far). If the creator of an AI system has sold the system to (say) a company and the company owns the Data that is used to train the AI system, then the IP rights would have to belong to both the AI system creator as well as the Data owner which is the company. Is that right!?

Why is the profession of economics allowed to award itself a "Nobel Prize" when it was created by the Swedish Royal Bank, and not endowed by Alfred Nobel. In fact, Nobel's family has objected loudly to the misappropriation of their family name, but they are not wealthy so they have been ignored. This is a blatant abuse and theft of the prestige of the Nobel name, of the same character as labelling a non Benarsi mango as a Benarsi langda. That the economics profession goes along with it speaks to a fundamental and widely shared intellectual dishonesty in economists.
