何度もシャウトされてる「kadosh」というのは「聖なる、神聖なる」という意味で
聖書では「聖なる、聖なる、聖なる万軍の主」のように3回続けて言われる事が多いです。
流石は地獄の女神。博識だぁ。

OMG SARIEL LETS GOOO
I like the sense of progression in Sariel's character throughout this song. First she sings about faith and universal love, the kind of things you'd expect of an angel. Then in the second verse it suddenly gets darker, Sariel mentions having been kicked from Heaven and starts talking about death as a deliverance, it is implied that she has fallen for overstepping her boundaries and bringing death where she wasn't supposed to. By the third verse she seems to have lost what sanity she had left. She looks upon humanity and finds it wanting, and it can be presumed that she will settle for nothing short of total erasure of mankind. It's basically chronicling her path from a holy entity to the evil creature she has become by TH1
I don’t think the song is implying she necessarily had fallen from heaven (yet). I feel this song is more of a tribute to her role as the angel of death (Shinigami). Sariel’s ability is to simply take away souls and bring them into the afterlife. Alongside the perks of being a servant of God, her bidding may have caused her to be very insightful and almost philosophical on the scheme of all things. When the song goes into the chorus, I feel like she’s fighting someone as an archangel and not a fallen as of yet
And the only thing that leads to her demise is standing in front of an angry reimu.
I mean, she straight up mentions the morning star, which to my knowledge is a title for Lucifer and whether she or you is being corrupted with it then for a split second switching to an image of a wingless sariel, a wingless angel also being indicative of a fallen angel I believe
I don't care if I'm right or wrong but I think that the one that made her "evil" is probably Mima, since Mima is in the deepest hell and she said she knows alot about the Hakureis, she probably wiped all of them but missed killing Reimu(explains why she escapes hell after fighting Reimu), and after Sariel saw her acts she questioned the necessity of Mima's existence and then killed her and that may have corrupted Sariel's mind.

Great to see this theme get some love. Sariel themes are easily one of the most unique among PC-98 score.

I love how 暁Records uses "holy, holy, holy" as a main portion in their lyrics (as well as the Hebrew version) as it is something that the seraphim say as they fly around God in the Book of Enoch, the same book that the archangel Sariel comes from. A very niche reference but a very appreciated one!
Even more niche considering the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Enoch aren't technically part of the Christian canon

シリーズの中で、サリエルのボス戦が一番異質で異変のスケールデカイし、生死を賭けた戦いだからね…
1曲目は、互いに命をかけての死闘
2曲目は、死ぬなら、靈夢と世界もろとも消す。みたいな感じ、そもそも旧作は化け物だらけだし、補強用の変Tより魔界を支配してた神綺、サリエル、夢幻姉妹が最強クラスなんだよね…(殺し合いの時代だし)
紺珠伝のヘカーティアが、歴代作ダントツの最強って聞いた事があるけど……元ネタが魔術神の側面を持つヘカーティアと、死と月を司る大天使サリエルとではどちらが強いのかね。

I am always down for some Sariel love. Considering how underrated she is and how strong her theme is it's always a treat to see Sariel arranges. And I'm amazed at how metal you made shouting Holy in hebrew. 10/10 Absolutely divine arrange.
Also the art for Sariel here is beautiful. Would really like to see the full spread for some of the shots.

I woke up, saw in my notifications a new pv of akatsuki records, opened youtube and saw the name, the rest it was an absolute journey

It's such a shock to see 暁Records do a Sariel PV of all characters, and the illustrations really give off that ethereal vibe. My personal favourite PC-98 theme and generally favourite Touhou theme of all time, and quickly becoming my favourite 暁Records arrangement. Stack has such a fantastic vocal range, the 'Kadosh! Kadosh! Kadosh!' was such a shock when I first listened. The lyrics are such an impressive feat given the lack of background given for Sariel, and the themes of her descent and becoming corrupted in these lyrics was such a genius idea, it really quickly made this my favourite arrangement of her theme. Good work, everyone! I'm gonna purchase the CD the first chance I get.

This is one of those songs where I feel like they kept a thick piece of glass and wall between them and Stack out of fear of her going feral. I know I would because many of these songs where her voice goes to “the demon is being unleashed” would put fear into my heart

Absolute slapper of a song either way, Stack has an insane vocal range and the instruments are always different. Stunning how people can take a single composition and make wildly-different songs from it.

Stack is my favourite singer, her voice can change into so many shapes and forms I am always amazed.
I love how this song compares Sariel to Lucifer, first and most obvious when she is called The Morning Star (Lucifer's title) but also her progression, as someone already pointed out, from being a typical all-loving angel, to questioning god's creation (asking why, if we're made in god's image, do we suffer so)
Fun fact: the song has a Title Drop of the original name of Sariel's first phase theme.
