Household Hacker lol
Hello im 10 minutes late

I don’t think everyone appreciates how funny you are. Some of your jokes are so clever, they go over people’s heads lol.
Your Right they make really good content and they are funny and helpful
I literally always laugh and think the same thing!
This is not Jeopardy. You do not need to be a genius to understand basic things.

Omg same
Please dont ever stop doing these! As an apartment dweller and someone who loves nifty products that could save me time, money or space I love these!
Love these vids
Look at the portable washing machine videos. I bought one and I am happy with it.
I have bad news, they passed away. 😭
I started crying when those ridiculous clawed gardening gloves made a cameo appearance at 7:27, I love when they sneak previously reviewed products into their videos 😂
I could see the hanging drier as being totally convenient for something that's labeled "delicate wash, hang dry"
So did you find out what cothes are?
Unfortunately, no. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE
But, life find's a way
[Edit] In my country drying and ironing clothes r sheety
did you forget what an l is

Fun fact: 3D printing (you know, that fancy space-agey sometimes DIY stuff) _may_ help with the Wonder Washer's water woes. If you can figure out how to create a seal to be made with a flexible filament you can have it printed and sent to your door, so you slip it on and never worry about overflow again.
*Maybe.*
Wonder Washer: The only reason you actually buy this is if you live in a dorm with no access to laundry. Pretty much what happened to me 25 years ago and I wish this thing exist back then because it's hard to spend time to do laundry with hectic high school schedule.
Washing Wand: The moron who invented this thought seeing Asian women whacking laundry with a two by four on the riverside is the best thing for laundry.
Clothes drying hanger: You mean SHOES drying hanger? I actually want it. I own a lot of shoes and I live in a wet city and any gadget that can help dry my shoes is a okay for me.
Electric Drying Rack: Why not just let them dry naturally? I mean the test ended up with 180 minutes (3 hours) to dry multiple clothing, pretty much the same as natural drying time. Go get a damn steamer that thing actually way more useful.
The washing wand is most likely a newer version of a product from back in the day, when people still had to wash their laundry by hand
Somebody had dirty draws on in class and old socks on lol 😂 I knew I smelt someone
Jkjk
You can but similar shoe gadgets that works way better for even cheaper. Just to let you know
Depends where you live for something drying naturally.
Wonder washer might be okay if you wanna live in a camper van for a while...

he gets it from blue october

As someone who hand washed clothes, for a family of three, for well over a year, I can tell you the only one that is probably any real use is that plunger like device: Agitating clothes by hand, is not only difficult, but tears up/dries out, the skin of your hands.. Come to think of it, that drying bag, too, if you don't have much to do, at once. **Incoming tips for anyone stuck in a position to hand wash clothing.**
Otherwise, properly soaking clothes, and periodically agitating, is what I found most effective. Multiple rinses to ensure you get the soap out, otherwise, it causes rough or oily-like spots, in the clothing.
Wringing every last drop of water out, you possible can, is a necessity; rubber gloves can help protect your hands from being scraped to hell and back, but will inevitably rip if you're doing it right. I do mean, every drop you can muscle out without ripping your clothes. It is exhausting and time consuming.
Air drying isn't what most people think; you can't just hang you clothes in open air; it requires some amount of heat. I had a directional space heater, and a large piece of cardboard, that essentially created an open topped box around my clothing drying rack, or any improvised rack I used. (did I mention I had no choice but to dry everything indoors?). Without heat, and (relatively) quick drying, clothes tend to either shrink back irregularly, or not at all. This is also why it's important to wring the clothes with the might of fucking Thor.
Another drying tip: do not air dry shirts on a hanger as he did, unless you like your shirt shoulders stretching out.
Target sells pretty sturdy, standing, folding, drying racks. Would recommend. As I recall, only about $15-$20.
Very informative. Thank you.
I don't know what you are doing that your clothes shrink back irregularly or whatever when air drying but we exclusively air dry all our stuff just hanging it in the living room or where ever there's space for the rack and never had any problem with that. It takes 1-2 days until everything's dry but that isn't an issue at all.
Use your feet! Many indigenous people around the world use their feet
@@blubablubafasel That's interesting. Even during the CA drought summer seat, and our apartment sat at 85F all day long (our insulation and A/C were... let's say old), I sometimes still had an issue with irregular shrinking. In fact, in the winter, I had to start ironing all the clothes after wringing them out, just to get things relatively normal, again. Perhaps, it's how I was wringing them out? Maybe something in our water? am intrigued.
@@signalsoldier I didn't really have a space where I could've done that, but it makes a lot of sense!
Could you give us a tour of all the things that you reviewed and actually use
DIY versions of all of this!
Portable washer: bucket, soap, and a bit of elbow grease.
Wand thing: arms! They work better too.
Hanger dryer: hanger, hair dryer.
Dryer hanger bag: take a sheet from the load, fold into a bag, put wet clothes on hanger, put inside sheet, fire hair dryer through bottom.
Awesome. Now I know I don't need none of them. Thanks 👍
Don't need none of them? That means you need all of them
@@thanhcutun8227 Really ? Why ?
2 no = yes
I kinda' want that last one, hang it in the bathroom, and use it to have warm towels after a bath.. :P
they should've marketed it as that instead
Still doesn’t beat a good bathrobe though
@@blazeddddddd a warm bathrobe 🥰
There's enough space for a bathrobe and towels in it.
@@buoy9665 for about what that hanger costs, you can buy a warming towel rack. I bought one several years ago at a flea market for $20, and it's still kickin!

Love your videos man. Been watching for 3 years now
Nidhish Parekh somehow me too 😎the way he shows the stuff is great 😎
Nidhish Parekh same
Damn 3 years to watch a 10 minute video? That's impressive
Hey, thank you for this. Could you possibly do a “laundry part 2” with some of those small portable washers and dryers that are compact and require connection to an actual water source? I don’t mean a W/D hookup. I have seen one that hooks to a sink, one that hooks to some other hose... etc.
To really truly save money...Hand wash it and lay it on a hot radiator..it gives you the best results :D
Exactly put your clothes in a natural stream and put them up in a tree to dry
Just be careful of fires.
isnt good for ur hands tho.people have been busting veins handwashing. its difficult and time consuming.
Washboards help.
7:30 Nice callback to the gardening digging gloves.
The ending *WOAOAH!?!*
Still better than the college washing machines
A washing blender is definitely what I needed
I want this guy to read me story’s before I sleep I love his voice
Ummm no
the last one would be great to heat towels while you take a shower. Having heated towel after a shower is GREAT, try it some time.
Your voice is awesome! 👍
1+1=2 and i’m first
You could also go even cheaper if you wanted to be honest about it. Buy a 5 gallon bucket, and a plunger and drill holes in the plunger lol. I've washed my clothes for several months this way when our washer broke before we ended up getting a new one lol.
That shirt going back into the water for a third time: "Hello darkness my old friend...."
I'm waiting for the shoe fantics to attack you for the shoes, good thing I'm not one. 😂
I want that shirt!!!! Old Gregg is best Gregg
Oh yeah boy. Old gregg is the best

Been watching for about 4 years and the videos just get better
I legit loved my wonder washer when I was in college. I did usually tie it down to something to prevent it from sliding around. Jeans can only be washed by themselves with no more than 2 at a time but it worked best for a good chunk of underwear especially if you start to run out before you have a chance to run to the laundromat.
0:35 I thought that was a mop Dryer 😂😂🤣😂🤣🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
I kinda like that thing that dries the shoes
Me too. Maybe because I'm a sneaker head and I want something that can dry my shoes fast.
Same. It would be nice for winter boots
7:29 uses garden genie to open lol
And this is why I will stick to my little antique 1946 HandyHott with it's matching wringer and my antique National glass washboard for the stubborn stains. The washboard was a hand-me-down, the washer I bought for $6 on auction, and the matching wringer I found to be a necessity to save my hands from all that wringing, but it took some hunting to track down and eventually cost $80. So when I got stuck in a flat with no washer and dryer, it saved me a LOT of trouble and money! Those little HandyHott's are going for around $100 typically when you can find them online, and I've never seen one that included the wringer, but there's a reason that they still sell for so much. They actually work great and have a much bigger capacity than all these modern plastic iterations of countertop washers. They're also completely metal, not a plastic piece in sight! While they're only safe to run through a GFCI outlet due to the old electrical design, they will likely keep going for many, many years to come because they were so well made. Yay for them predating that industry's planned obsolescence! It also only takes 90watts of power to run it, so you could use a cheap car inverter and car battery if need be! Read: great for camping, too!
Am I the only one who saw that ending? 😂😂
No
All that's cool, but have you tried using a floppy hammer for increased kinetic energy?
My absolute favourite series 😭

7:31 😂😂 easter egg action ( garden gloves ) from previous vid, Nice touch ! No punn intended.
Im not gonna use the *Personal clothes dryer for my clothes* im
gonna use it to *sleep and keep me warm*
But the real question is.......
*_What does it smell like?_*
I'm sorry
The first product is just literally a big version of a blender
😂 😂
While researching solar food dehydration I learned that drying is less about heat and more about air movement.
Case in point, I don't have a dryer but I've got three clothes lines inside and a box fan. Not sure how long it actually takes to dry everything as I usually just let it run over night, but before I added the fan my clothes would get slightly musty smelling and take over a day to dry, not any more.
Towels dry completely too, and I've got the biggest fluffiest towels I could find at walmart!
This series is surprisingly funny, long time viewer :)

A regular toilet plunger works very well for small loads, they also cost only $3.00 on average. I use a 5 gal. bucket with it
Tbh I’m still surprised every time I see the digging claws or any other previous product in these newer episodes and it already gives me a little laugh
the plunger one is just a modern version of the old copper possers that were used when you did your washing in a tub, before washing machines... (UK)
WHEN TF DID YOU GET RED OCTOBERS. I guess years on UA-cam do that to ya
Juewey they’re fake lmao
Yeah buddy those are big fake
That's what I thought for a second, but they're very fake

I know that these MIGHT work, but they still look kinda dumb.
Most of them don't work. The bucket washer only have small target market, the wand is stupid, the racks only good for shoes.
That bucket washer would be good in a camper or lake home. To wash out your swimsuit.jk to wash like NOT a pair of jeans.
I’m proud of the mötörhead shirt in the intro
I personally think this little washing machine is amazing
"As seen on tv"
is just a euphemism for cheap garbage.
Plenty of cheap garbage never gets on TV tho.
Expensive garbage. Garbage is free.
The wonder wand is good for muddy and badly soiled clothing that you don't want to put in your washer. It's a good tool to get them to the point where you can wash them regularly.
Hahahaha i love that you bought the cheapest shoes you could find on craigslist

Yes.
Just buy a washing machine
My apartment doesn’t have hookups for them and I don’t always have time to go to a laundromat.
@@Savannah_Simpson Heard of the Panda Washer?
These gadgets are pretty cool, now I just need some clothes
Hotel rooms are always very dry. I often use different tricks to hydrate the rooms and one of them is to give a quick wash to a worn piece of clothing and hanging it above the air conditioner or in front of heat sources. It would be easier for me to bring along a humidifier but when you are off on an adventure you tend to forget things like this.
7:10 "AND THE INSIDE IS COMPLETELY DRY!"
The dryer alternatives have a major advantage in that they greatly reduce washing-related wear and tear.
The Gan Yi Bao is pretty neat to be honest... it will be very handy in case of those people that live on apartments and cant hang they clothes outside.
I caught that great joke. Make an assessment. I'm old Gregg!! Nice one guys.
You can do a full load of laundry in a rubbermaid. Use your feet to agitate the water to clean the load :)
Socks not drying in a real dryer joke really hit me home man
I could see the bucket and the last dryer being helpful for a person in a dorm or small apartment.
I saw an old metal version of the washing wand in the display of old washing implements (Along with the typical wash board and carpet beater) at my local laundromat
This guy makes me laugh with his comments 😂
In all, spending the money on a washer and dryer saves you time, and saving time saves you money.
you really like the diggy claws
Would actually buy that last one just to warm up my clothes before school. I set my first alarm an hour early so i'll be awake enough for the second one XD pretty convenient cause I usually resorted to sleeping on the clothes i'm planning to wear
