Filmed this with no real aim lol. I always get my eyebrows laminated professionally but, as i'm currently self isolation and avoiding London at all costs, I ordered a brow lamination kit...kind of.
Thanks to one of my favourite UA-camrs Ivan Lam, I got this kit off amazon and it was a pretty good way to Laminate your eyebrows at home !
I'm also talking a little bit about how i feel about the current situation....the C Word. But I do want this to be a channel where you can come to forget about all of that!

In Perú we've been laminating our brows for more than 15 years ago, so for experience, I recommend you not doing it every month. Eventually the brow hairs are going to be prone to breakage. Let them rest from time to time without the "lamination" (It's a perm, but with gentler products). Here it's not so use nowadays, maybe it will return as every trend.

@@d.k4559 Around 2-6 weeks. It will never be perminant and it will not effect the natural growth pattern of your hair.
I agree with you on the self-isolating - this is what introverts do all the time. It's the same for me and my bf, we are hermits XD Poor extroverts, this must truly be hell.
I can confirm self-isolation is a living hell for me :)

As an introverted who's always busy with work and college I can confirm that this is what I usually do, except for the fact that I'm getting bored

Introvert here! I've been in training for social isolation all my life - I feel sorry for those who crave social interaction. I'm just like you - when I go out I'm counting the minutes until I can go home, and then I just want to be by myself to "recharge" my batteries.
I work in a deli at a grocery store, and let me tell you when i say im kinda disgusted at the panic buying people are doing, we havent had toilet paper for days(also kleenex and paper towel), sanitizer, hand soap, meat, and bread. I'm sure there's other things, but those are the things i've noticed. It's been exhausting(shout out to all the nurses and doctors btw!). I'm really glad all my favorite youtubers have been continuing on uploading videos, it really has been helping me a lot since i can't quarantine yet. Thanks James, and wish you the best!!!

Same here, grocery store deli clerk and I'm just confused by the idiocy and how rude people are being. I didn't have much faith in humanity already and this has really brought out the worse in people. I'm so tired and I'd love to stay home but that's not an option. I have so much respect for medical professionals. I definitely couldn't do it.

I've been doing this myself for a few months now with that same kit from Amazon and I'm addicted! I have very coarse brow hairs that grow in many different directions and this has made an amazing difference in how long it takes to do my brows. Yours turned out great and as you do it more, you will figure out what works better for you as far as placement of the hairs while they're processing.
MSA My brows are the same! They seem to have a mind of their own and grow in different directions, some are even starting to grow forwards from my face (if that makes sense?!). They are quite coarse too, I just want to be able to control them and keep them neat! Does lamination help with this?
Merlin's Mama Yes, it does. I have the same problem. It smooths down all of the ones that poke straight out except for one stubborn one that I just gave up and plucked.

This is the perming solution...James smells and gags... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Anyone who has ever had a perm can all but smell this through the screen. Then adding the "fixing agent" (I believe it's the equivalent to Neutralizer for a perm) - almost spills... *Oh God!!* 🤣🤣 Loved this video!!
I’m glad you did Lam’s video because I would never have seen it. I’m seriously considering eyebrow hair restoration after all this chaos is over (assuming I survive it) and one of things you have to do is train the hairs to grow in the right direction. So this is genius! Thank you 🙏

It has always been interesting to me that people are being "bullied" for not taking care of themselves and "Beautiful people" would treat them badly and so on. I live currently in a society where, because I do take care of myself, my skin, my hair, my makeup - people judge me and tell me I'm superficial. I always feel attacked because I look good and dress well. Thankfully I have my UA-cam family where I can feel good about myself and continue to take care of myself. Thank you James and Robert 💞
Animal Crossing, is so cool, my niece is playing a lot. Her college is closed down and her gaming club all got it and they are playing together. It’s making it a lot easier for her to stay in doors.

Ooooh I remember I did lamination @ the salon and after couple of weeks my brows started shedding 😭 so when you do do lamination make sure to put oil on your brows! 💕

Thank you for talking about how hard it is for extroverts. I’m kind of 50/50, but I’m definitely not a fan of staying at home for this long, although I’m not super social. Also sadly not everybody’s living situation is good and that can make it even harder. Last few days have been the worst, so it’s nice to hear someone understanding those of us, for whom it’s hard to be away from friends.

I loved my brow lamination. I feel like the first week it looked totally crazy. But now it looks amazing, once the brows grow in they get some volume :)

I’ve used this on my lashes and they stayed permed for 3 months think this a really good kit for the money and easy enough to use at home, you just have to be up to looking after them with brushing brush them all the time and making sure they are clean and the hairs are kept heathy :)

Hi James, thank you so much for your videos (and I love Robert's videos as well!!!)! You two are helping me get through this weird and scary time. I work in a veterinary hospital so am still going in to work, so it's scary even though I work nights and it's pretty quiet normally. My anxiety has been off the charts and you and Robert's videos help calm me down and focus on something else. I'm so glad as well that you're talking about rosacea, as mine is particularly severe from all the stress right now. Any rosacea recommendations are very very welcome!! Honestly as a trans person I find this helpful for what I can do with my thick, wild eyebrows to make them more tame and 'femme'.
Honestly, please do more hairstyling videos! I would love them. I have short hair and im just clueless on what to do with it and a lot of videos gloss over products and i just feel overwhelmed and dont understand them very much. I specifically try to follow men who do hairstyling since my hair is cut as such. I would love your take on it since i appreciate the way you explain things.
