I'm interested, but what would we be resetting the speaker for and what are the effects of the reset exactly?
This one worked for my Anker Soundcore. But for the hold the turn on/off button part. I did it for 10 seconds. It turned off then on again. But this time I can able to turn the device on and off without issue. This solves my forever pairing mode issue with Anker.

Pressing the play button disconnected the speaker from both my Mac and my iPhone. This reset restored the original settings and everything works again. Thanks

my Anker keeps saying "117" ... unable to hear any sounds, the volume is constantly at 0 and even when increased it goes down to 0 over a couple of seconds.

My Speaker has randomly decided to make a very annoying popping sound whenever sound comes out of it even when it's turning on and it won't go away. I ha e no idea what is causing it and only brought it a couple months ago.

Mine is not even a month old and won’t charge. I’ve tried everything..literally everything and it’s junk. Going back to Amazon.
Mine doesn't even turn off I have to hold the power button for like 10 seconds but when I take my finger off it just turns it's self back on.

Same here. Reset makes no difference - the phone sees it but is only able to pair after restarting my phone. The Anker keeps losing pairing while on charge overnight. Other paired devices do not. Conclusion: BT on the Anker is a bit crap.
