Watched the whole day on sky sports, brilliant coverage. But, why has fishing coverage diminished over the years ? Great to see Kayleigh competing, and a very respectful finish, you done great gal. Conditions not great, but, that's what makes fishing. Well done to all competitors, runners, organisers and bankside fans.

Agreed you can have just as much enjoyment with very little gear. It's a bit an like an F1 car John I certainly can't get my head around all that goes on there, but there's reason to all of it.
A lot of it is spares all setup ready to go for all different areas in the peg and different depths. With £50k at stake you don’t want to be setting up different rigs during match time!
