Thank you for showing the shore path! I didn’t realize those 2 storms damaged it so badly. It’s been a little over a year since I’ve been there and I miss Bar Harbor very much. Your videos there help very much!
Thank you for taking us along for your walk to see the repairs on the Shore Path. The repaired areas looked great, can't wait to see it completed. We walk it every day when we are up there,
Thank you for sharing, I haven’t been up that way for over a year. It’s still mighty beautiful as I remembered! Hope your knee is better, looks like you’re doing well.
Hi Todd! We have never walked past the original Inn so that was a treat. How about an update on your surgically repaired knee? My knee is getting balky, but that might be old age.
@@williamthawley9251 I am quite happy with no snow. We are hoping to walk a carriage road after this storm, so we are hoping it stays all rain. We are planning to go to a waterfall which should be quite nice after an inch of rain.
@@todddunn945 yes, we saw the lack of rain in acadia, especially with the lake levels. where is the waterfall? we walked the carriage road around eagle lake, mainly because we found parking.
I have no idea. Some of it might be covered if the homeowners had flood insurance, but who knows. Since the cost of waterfront property in Bar Harbor is in the millions, none of the property owners involved are poor, so that is also a consideration.

The Bar Harbor Inn did a great job rebuilding the path. Hopefully it will all be like that next summer.
Just loved it! Thanks for taking us along!
You are very welcome. I was disappointed that about half of the path was closed. Hopefully it will be fully open next summer.
Have a great day, and thanks for your video clip
My pleasure. I am glad you found it interesting.

It was a very pretty day. I manage with the knee. I can do whatever I want, but the muscles do ache after I walk around.

You are welcome. I will do an update this week. I have been putting it off until some changes I made had time to work out, or not.
and tomorrow we might get snow flurries, had a dusting last night.
Our latest forecast has flurries in it too, but they are supposed to followed by about an inch of rain.
@@todddunn945 sorry, no snow, we actually had white ground cover, not on streets, last night and this morning.

jordan pond, the stream that runs off of it, was dry.
Heat wave 😅
It was quite comfortable since there was no wind.
does homeowners insurance cover this kind of damage ? If it does, does it affect the homeowners premiums ?
