Can have a negative impact on performance in certain games. For example in Horizon Forbidden West as far as I heard.
In intel gpus resizable bar is getting better peformance❤
I just leave it enabled, usually it's better, when it's worse it's only marginally anyways!

Im glad i paired 3060 Ti with Ryzen 5 7500F since its quite a lot more faster than something like 5600x which costs pretty similar in my country
and i like rust usually get around 140 fps on official servers
In other countrys the RTX 3050 8GB prices are still high but in South Africa the rtx 3050 can be had for 239 dollars. Usesd RTX 2060 6GB cost 330 dollar, the rx 6600 new cost 277 dollars, intel arch a580 new cost 245 dollars new, the cheapest rtx 3060 cost 320 dollars, the cheapest rtx 4060 cost 351 dollars and the rx 7600 8GB cost 320 dollars new. The RTX 3050 8GB and Intel Arch A580 is the cheapest option here. I have the Zotac RTX 3050 Twin Edge OC 8GB for 250 dollars new in August 2022. I love this card and use DLDSR to upscale my game from 1080p to 1440p with DSR 33%, I just use DLSS Quality or Balance and it looks better than native 1080p on my 23.7 inch 1080p 144Hz monitor.

@@autobahn_cj I'm running 1440p on the 1080p monitor because the upscaled 1440p looks sharper and more detailed. I also use DLSS quality or balanced on the 1440p to have a sharper image and get more fps than 1080p. 1440p DLSS Quality is 960p and DLSS Balanced is 830p. If the DLSS in some games looks bad I try fsr. If that looks or play bad then I play 1080p.

The VRAM requirements of RUST are out of this world too. With full textures i've seen as much as 14-16GB of my 7900XT get chewed up at 1080p, and it still stutters! It's never enough for RUST.
Nice video. Does this game stutter because the pc specs arent that good or because this game is not well optimised?
It was stuttering the same on my 7950X3D and RX 6800 so it's just broken at the moment!

You can fix the stuttering when you go to experimental and make the gc buffer high (when you got 16gb ram make it to the half and when you got 32gb or more make it max)

I recently downloaded rust again. Not having played it in years. I wanted to see how well this game would run on my new system that I build almost half a year ago. I got a 6650xt and a 5600 for the CPU. I see barely any difference between max settings and the lowest setting in terms of performance which is very weird to me, I did also get higher 40s when close to just a medium sized base located around a bunch of rocks, not a tree in sight, this on medium setting basically.

dude i reminded you 2 times now to change the GC BUFFER(MB) setting in the Experimental tab to the max setting.. you even replied to me not even a month ago saying that you appreciate me telling you and that you will do it in future.. your whole video in my opinion is harder to take seriously, for me and anyone who knows this setting also, it used to be a F1 console command, but the Developers have included it in the normal settings now because it is so important, the reason it is not set to 4096 by default is because peoples RAM amounts are not standard in size

The 3050 is doing well in that title. I would probably go for 1440p high with a very few things on medium in this one.
I like these Rust benches even though I never played that game.

That's CPU bound, not good for GPU testing because then a 4070Ti Super will be the same as a 4060 😅

outpost is definitely the most intensive area
I have tested it in many videos, it's not :)
@@zWORMzGaming usually i play on server with 100 to 300 people also very modded servers like 100x loot multipliers, or even sometimes 100000x, ive noticed at outpost frames will drop from 100fps to around 50fps, it is definitely cpu intensive when there are a lot of people at outpost plus all the mods
there are alot of different scenarios where fps can be affected

You're probably talking about "Bedrock" it has DLSS but No Frame Gen yet while in Java has no any upscaling because it relies on Optifine to run smoothly

get an rtx 3060 for 270-280€ instead, or if you dont mind lowering texture settings the 4060 for 295
