Postrock had definitely become a one way road for me. Once I started listening to this kind of music, I'm not able to listen to "casual" music anymore.
It's a really amazing genre of music with an awesome community around it! Glad you're getting more and more into it :)

Everytime I listen Alan Watts speaking in the background of a post rock song I know it's the good stuff. It gets me everytime

Alan Watts indeed was the best thinker ive ever had the pleasure to listen to and understand. His silky voice and charm and his outlook on life was a breath of fresh air. i was 2 when he passed and his words still mean something by todays standards a true Genius

I got impressed by how this album started, I was thinking I was getting into something chill, almost ambient and then I got completely distracted from what I was previously doing and drawn when the music started!
I heard lot of bands this year but this is my favorite one. 8x0 is pure porn for ears.
Wow. 8x0 and Terra gave me the chills. Followed by tears of joy during Dear Magdalena. Incredible work. Thank you guys

Unbeleivable, just breathtaking album. I almost cried at Ratcatcher. So so so good. Wonder what creative space the artists mind was in because to create something as wonderful, you really need to be inspired by so many things and experience highs of highs and lows of lows. That's where this type of beauty emerges from.

Post-Rock is not normally my cup of tea (I'm more of a Hum/Failure etc guy), but UA-cam's algorithm served this album up to me and I really enjoyed it. Have probably listened to the whole thing 10 or 12 times now.

I've been waiting years for this. I remember when stars over somber skies released. I found the album the other day. I was listening to Heru Tora and I couldn't find the acoustic video you guys made a whole back. What are the chances I stumble on you guys again 1 day after you release another album..
Hey Sabian, I think you may be referring to another Treebeard, there's been a few bands over the years with that name haha We hadn't heard of any of them down here in Australia when we formed the band. Hope you enjoyed our album :)

@@treebeard8726 it's crazy bc I was thinking of the same treebeard he was but don't get it twisted. Your album is awesome! It's just some of your riffs sound very familiar to the other treebeard band. The other treebeard band was way heavier vocally back in the day. So many thought(even myself)this is what they evolved to. This still takes the cake tho. Magnificent Job 🙌🙏🔥
@@vessellast836 No twisting at all dude, don't stress :) Yeah we hadn't heard of or listened to the other Treebeards until recently, (I'm assuming you're talking about the post-hardcore / emo band and not the folk rock ones haha), but after some people started bringing them up in the comments we checked out some of their stuff. We probably share some similar influences from old school emo and post rock bands so that explains the familiarity in riffs etc.
