You ever get that nostalgic kick in your stomach that makes you a bit emotional and feel like a kid with happy tears too, that is how I feel when I listen to this.
"I'd go get a job, uninstalling 90's payphones!" love it.
The opening guitar riff over the voices sounds like you have a generation loss pedal. Love that sound.
Introduced to this band in March 2020. This song was the sign off for our local college radio station at cusp of pandemic and all the uncertainty. Couldn’t have picked a more perfect song and band to capture the delicate anxieties we all felt. This song still brings me so much hope and connection all these years later.
from japan🙋♂️
i can listen to this song at the starbucks
I found out about this song, two days ago, by Shazaming it at a Starbucks in Japan.
I love this song. My favourite by them.
I stumbled across this band a few years and instantly connected with their great tunes... AOID and GN are brilliant albums so I'm really looking forward to the new album; on vinyl of course :)
"pick apart my brain, put it back into my head" another gem
just beautiful! melancholic yet full of empathy, reminds me of my lonely bicycle rides during june, july and august. i would take the bicycle out of the basement at 11pm and head to the nearby lake or when i was in the mood, a midnight screening in the city
waiting for the album! also, very childish and sweet video, rest in peace chloe the pug!
I love this song so much and the video is in a weird way extremely wholesome, thank you Ratboys
