Wow week six, you should be proud of your achievements to date! You have three different runs this week to test your mental endurance. This week is coastal week!
Week 6D1: todays run is set at Burnett Heads, Queensland.
Warm up: brisk 5-minute walking.
Activity: 5 minutes easy paced running
8 minutes easy paced running
5 minutes easy paced running with
3 minutes of recovery walking between each run
Cool Down: easy 5-minute walking

Hi, I'm Michael. I'm an average runner (in his mid 50s) that has had many injuries and illness that have forced me to recommence my fitness journey; sometimes years later! I’ve made these videos as I have completed many C25K runs during my last two rehabilitations using the treadmill or elliptical.
** IMPORTANT POINTS ***
The RUNNING PHASES throughout the entire program are at an EASY PACE. If you finish each repetition out of breath and don’t believe you can carry on you are running too fast. Initially it may be just over a walking pace.
The RECOVERY WALKS are just that; they are the periods to rest before the next repetition.
Treadmill setting: set the incline to 1% from day one to closer equate to outdoor running.
