The new season Simplicity sewing patterns release is the most meaty pattern release I have seen in a while from the big 4. There were lots of gorgeous designs, so many in fact I've done a separate video for the Simplicity vintage re-release sewing patterns in this issue - there were just too many to feature in one video.
Mimi G has produced some fantastic designs in this issue - a trench coat/utility jacket style cropped cape, which is so on trend, a beautiful sundress with full, gathered skirt and a very cute bralette and skirt co-ord set. There were also a couple of dresses with beautiful cut out designs, an awesome pair of wide leg trousers and a pretty, wedding guest worthy dress.
It is so nice to be looking at sewing for Spring/Summer 2024 and to be looking at colourful fabrics - I am so over winter!

Hi Lucy, thanks for sharing these lovely patterns , all your videos are so helpful , love watching them. Having only started sewing 3 years ago Ive only ever used indie patterns, starting with TATB as the instructions for beginners are brilliant. Ive used other patterns, Avid Seamstress, Grainline, Meghan Neilson to name a few and have gradually built my skills , but again the instructions are very clear. I would love to have a go at many of designs from the big 4, but worry that I may struggle. Any advice you can give me?

Watching from America and wondering about the lengths the fabric is sold on your website. Is it meters? For example, if I wanted approximately 6 yards, would I order a quantity of 5.5? Thanks
