The best plane ever built. I was so lucky to be a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines. I worked on this baby since it began in 1970 until I retired in 2003. Memories...
Just saw this pop up in my youtube feed. My wife and I were driving east on the crosstown when this took off last week! I was losing my mind watching it (she was driving)
How tall of a ladder do u use to see the planes, also would you recommend seeing the side view of the planes or top at the red ramp lvl. 8? (It will be January when I go so many more snow)
4ft should do it if you’re not short, otherwise 5-6ft. Snow should be no factor. RED 8 has the clearest view. Any lower than 7 and the terminal starts to get in the way.
@ I’ve been the red ramp a lot before, I know the larger delta 757s and wide bodies are gated in the terminal directly in front of the view of the runway. Will Lufthansa a340 from Frankfurt be gated there?
We haven’t had a single snowfall enough to even cover the grass! Not even a single actual storm! I much prefer my stepladder that gets me over it enough anyways.

I was on Crosstown at 28th when this beauty took off. Made my day!!!
So regal and mesmerizing …all hail to the Queen of the Skies🌅✈️🌅
Beautiful aircraft! I hope to fly one of them before they’re gone.
Outstanding capture, love that early morning light!

What a way to start the day, U.S.A
-8's are beautiful.
Very much so!
Can you link back to the UPS 747 taking off in the snow? Having trouble locating that.

@ will red 8 have the right view on the right runway?

Need some piles of snow to get you up over the razor wire!

Sometimes I forget how big the 748 is
250ft, it’s an absolute unit!
Didn't UPS pilots could be out in the daylight???
Plane full of corn
I do not think that is a -800 model
No such thing as a 747-800. It’s a 747-8, N615UP.
