Geordie tune I believe, named after the high level bridge but I could be wrong. Either way much beloved and played here and I'm glad to see it played internationally!
It was written by James Hill, a fiddle player, born in Dundee who moved to Gateshead. I was actually there in January to see Suzanne Vega and I noticed a fine collection of pop up kitchens. I recommend them to anyone visiting the area.

It was a tune written for a music shop in Lerwick, Shetland Islands called the High Level Music shop 🙂
