I have to comment because your videos have really improved our channel! We dont do cooking content but your tips are so valuable for all creators!! So grateful for your content! Thank you again! ❤❤
i thought instagram and tiktok only uploads in 1080p. so if we upload 4k it will compress into 1080. will the quality look better or worse when uploading 4k than just uploading 1080p?
Hi Philip, my UA-cam channel just started and I’m struggling to make reals and shorts while filming regular UA-cam videos. It’s exhausting thinking of remaking a recipe just because I have 1 device and I want to have the horizontal videos same way I want to have the vertical videos too. 😢😢. Please help.
I made two videos that can help you. Search "Philip lemoine shoot horizontal and vertical at the same time" and "Philip lemoine one recipe into eight shorts" on youtube
@@PhilipLemoine I gave your advise a try and I’m completely blown away. 😮😮 My last short on drink ASMR (though quite low quality, IMHO) has been able to get 2k+ views in less than 24hrs. The best part of it all is that I made the short from a 4k horizontal video I made earlier. Thanks so much for being our guide in this journey of food content creation. With love ❤ from Nigeria 🇳🇬. 🎉

When you finish your edit go to share > toggle down advanced settings. For Preset select UA-cam 2160p 4K Ultra HD. Resolution select 2160p 4K Ultra HD. Quality select High.
So I heard something about using my other channel @gerrywittagcooks to search and UA-cam seeing that channel as a “consumer” as a posed to “creator”. Messing with the algorithm. What you know about this? If anything.
I think the only 3 things that will effect your videos getting more views will be: 1. Is it even a good idea. Is it something people even want to watch in the first place. If it is, than 2. Does it have a good thumbnail. When the video is presented to someone on youtube, does the thumbnail stop them from scrolling and make them click to watch. The title will help them decide on clicking too. And 3, Do they watch the video. At last 50%+ of the video. I think thats all that youtube algorithm cares about.

These are my settings. Look at my Instagram and let me know what you think of the quality after it’s compressed by IG @philip_lemoine
So is there no way to do this in premiere rush?
Great stuff!!
Been having that frame size problem when I want to export 4K. Now I know how to set it because of your video. Thanks a lot!

I saw Philip's video on this and it has helped me a lot in being able to still produce vertical content when I film horizontally. 😊
@@PhilipLemoine thank you for this. I’m binge watching all your instructional videos right away!
