I feel like you aren't too old but rather too young to get the appeal of Adidas Campuses. They are obviously inspired by 90's skate shoes, which would mean that people who grew up with them are around 40 years old right now. The chunky silhouette was really popular with brands like Osiris, which then fell out of favor and only remains in its functionality in sneakers like SB dunks, but it's just making a return if you can even call it that, from what I've seen these aren't even that popular, especially in real life.
@@averyj.steele1074 Honestly I'm still a teenager and I feel like it also has to do with knowing your fashion history to some extent before criticizing current 'trends' but yeah, you're right, it has been reduced to certain subcultures and I highly doubt that chunky sneakers will ever be as trendy as they were before. They had their moment with brands like Lanvin and Louis Vuitton replicating the style but that was a few years ago now.
i love the adidas campus and im with you i hate jorts (on myself, i actually love it on other people). and sweatpants can be worn well if you style it nicely. but i hate the sport glasses hahahaha, idk the sport sunglasses look tacky and i feel like they dont add to an outfit unless you are going to play sport/drive/fishing...etc.
@@Zamo_Zamo I can't understand others wearing it, but you probably won't catch me wearing them casually 😂🤣 ngl I can't really hate whut other people wear because that's just how they present themselves, but I can definitely hate certain clothing on myself hahahaha
Hey, really liked your video, your energy! First time I see someone showing his/her fit first on a fashion vid. Keep it up bro, you’ll boom sooner than later.
Adidas Campus just if it’s ‘99 and you are a fan of Korn/Limp Bizkit
Woodstock 99 vibes
@@Zamo_Zamoare you a nu metal head by any chance?
I am not yet but I might be becoming one. Good friend of mine is. Any advice?

I'm 43 and the first thing out of my mouth was "skate shoe", but I'll admit, he's probably right if you aren't skating.

I did not know this. I will look into it. Thanks for the tip. I knew Osiris and Etnies, not campus.
Thanks for the “too young”. I admit i was ignorant. Glad to hear that they have an original meaning and subculture of reference at least.
Ngl, these are about 25 yrs too late. Totally would have rocked them. Alas, I don't wear sneakers anymore.
i wear lounge pants every single day. i neeeeed the comfort. they're soft, thin, and stretchy. also they're black
Interesting feedback. What is the brand? I will try and check them out
you roasting tf out of sweatpants is hilarious 😂😂
Thanks.
@@Zamo_Zamo Karl Lagerfeld vibes in regards to how you see sweatpants
That is great but also scary at the same time. IDK maybe I have never found the perfect pair. Any advice?
Jorts are super popular in New Zealand, and have been for a number of years.
That is interesting. I appreciate that is an OG popular item tough, not a fast trend like here in Europe.
@Zamo_Zamo kiwis have been consistently rocking mullets for decades, probably why jorts lasted soo long too 😁
Awesome vid bro.
Thanks a lot that is amazing. Yeah mullet are also insanely popular right now here.

Love your take. I know what you mean about sportglasses but on the other hand I find their weirdness appealing ☺️☺️

Fun fun, it is ok to find something hard to imagine. We need to become cyclists so we can wear sportive sunglasses with a purpose =)
@@Zamo_Zamo Hahahaha, I'll probably stick to my more "timeless" looking sunglasses and have other trendy accessories 😂😅
When your sweatpants Rick you don't gaf
True that is the exception. The rest is mostly lame.
Camo (not flashy patterns) is must have basic or should be.
Like jeans, and Chinos 💯
I agree, it is truly an asset for a lot of situation. I normally do black on top or under it.
