- It looks like Kalvin Phillips will be joining West Ham on loan for the rest of the season in a deal worth about £10M to Manchester City.
It's a good move for Kalvin as West Ham are challenging for top 4, are in the Europa league and it could end with a permanent move in the summer.

Biggest bonus of all for West Ham supporters is that it should see the end of soucek as a starter so can actually control middle of the park a bit better which in turn generates more for a front 3 of kudus Bowen and Paqueta !

@@CityFanTV I've seen stuff on our side is saying it's a lot cheaper than the 6 to 10 being reported on your side and an option around £35m.

Id be surprised if the loan fee is over 5mil if west ham are paying full wage
I don't think we'll ever know the full details but I heard that City were asking for £7.5M a few weeks back which out off most clubs. I can't remember the rules on paying wages. I thought, especially with lower league clubs, they had to pay all the wages of the loanee as it would be unfair if a kid was on £30k and his parent club paid all those wages.
