Your video (and it seems like I've watched a ton of them) is the only one I truly understood how to do it. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You are a wonderful teacher..
I love how you did this! Thanks for clearly showing how to sew in pages! The other day I finally got the courage to make a video....my first.....of a mini journal. I can't wait to see all your videos!
I’m a new subscriber and I love your process. I find myself using similar techniques as you do. I can’t wait to watch more of your videos! So excited!!!
These are really cute books!! Love the fabric! And the tea dyed papers are so nice!! Thank you for sharing your process and tutorial! I really appreciate that you shared so freely on YT!!!
Thank you so much for this! I love using composition books however the white thinnish pages are often a drawback. Now that I know how to remove the pages and dye them, add other papers, the slums the limit. This is just on time as I am making a journal for a charity fund raiser. You are both creative and resourceful, thank you again!
Hello, new friend here. Your video popped up in my suggestion selection. Thanks for sharing your process of altering a composition book! I like that you actually took the pages out and then put them back in combining them with other types of paper. Now it's more interesting! Blessings & Bubbles...oooOOO
I love your video... most of these journal videos ppl talk way too much.. you get down to business!!! thank you for the inspiration.. I'm new to all this... wonderful to make these books for pictures of my crochet..
I too alter my composition notebooks, covering the outside covers with whatever catches my interest. I really love how do yours and I am thinking of trying it your way. Thanks for the inspiring video and sharing your talent with us.
Enjoyed this video very much. A suggestion: Love the music, but when you are talking, the music is a bit too loud. Also, please consider offering closed captioning on your videos for the hearing-impaired. The captioning also helps when the instructor has an accent (I don't want to miss anything that's being said).
One question, Wandeka....could you tell me about how many pieces of paper--the full sheets that you folded and put in this journal? Just give me an estimate....I want to make one....and it would be my first journal that I sew in the pages. I see that it is only one signature. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent with all of us! You are so inspiring! :) If you have time would you click on my channel and see my only video I've posted so far....it's a mini journal. thanks
CC's Creations Hi. Sorry this response is so late: I don't remember the exact number of pages but if you can have as many as the spine will take. I believe I folded about 10-15 tan sheets in two in additon to the composition pages & 5 or so patterned paper. It's really up to you but you want to keep it slim enough to add ephemera & cards.
Wonderful! I have so many comp books, I'm going to have to try this. I just found you and have really enjoyed watching your videos. TFS. I'm a new subbie and would love to have you visit me. Hugs!
I love this! I have been searching for a different way to alter the comp. books and I finally found it.

I'm surprised you didn't cover inside
Very nice
What are you using to distress the edges?
Brown ink stamp pad - any type will do.
Thank you
avocado skins? I couldn't find that:)
You peel the skin of the avocado and boil them until the water is pink.
Wonderful work but the music is a tad too loud...
