I am compelled to write that your video is the best of all excel videos I have seen! What I loved about the video other than content is clarity in instructions, the pace, neutral accent and voice has bass and so clear! Thanks again for this video!
WOW! This is the BEST video EVER. Everything is easy to understand, especially VLOOKUP. Others have taught VLOOKUP and I had a very hard time learning but you made things SUPER EASY. I thank GOD for you.
I have said this before and I will say it again: the entire team at Microsoft should have been given some equivalent of the Nobel Prize for inventing Excel. Sir, you did a great job and thank you for sharing it with us. I use excel a lot and I'm stunned when I remember how difficult my life used to be prior to applying such tips & tricks.
14:15 Number 14 - Absolute Cell Reference Quicker way to do it is select the cell reference, then press the F4 key. Also, you can lock either the row (e.g., A$1) or column (e.g., $A1) by pressing F4 once or twice (F4 scrolls through the options). Nice work! Thanks for the great video, Sele Training.
I am so glad that I have found your series on Excel. I have been out of the work force for 4 years and to put it mildly....I am rusty. You speak very clearly and concisely. I can understand and easily follow what I need to know. Thank you and I look forward to viewing your videos on other Office applications.
One of the best excel videos i have seen. Clear , Precise, Simple , Easy to apply , Apt Examples .... so well done. Thank you for posting and sharing this knowledge.
These videos are AMAZING I have learned more in two hours of watching these videos about excel than I have in years of trial and error on my own. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Best Video ever, Men I was only going to watch and skip but your ability to simply these tips saw me watch till the end, most importantly I learned everything while practising. Thank you lots
14:20. Excel has 3 types of references :A1(RELATIVE) $A$1(ABSOLUTE) A$1/$A1(MIXED). But in rest much appreciation, it really helped me a lot. BIG LIKE!
tips: by holding ctrl + shift + arrow keys you can select a range of cells for exemple: you can select the first cell of the cell range and hold ctrl + shift + ➡ to select the first row and then ctrl + shift + ⬇to select the rest of the range Also for the 3D reference, we can select the range where we want to get the calculated numbers, go to data tab - consolidate - and select "sum" if you want the numbers added, then select the range from each worksheet and click "add" each time. If I'm not mistaken, it works even if the ranges are on different workbooks
It was a very awesome video. I like the way you present and covered all 25 topics. Scanty functions, I was really not knowing in the excel. Thanks for sharing the information. This video will definitely helpful for the excel learners.
*WOW! Thanks so much for these tips and tricks. Fascinating!!!! I learned a few tricks from watching your tutorial and I have been using Excel for a very, very long time!*
Oh my God! I said that multiple times out loud during this video, pretty sure my dogs even looked at me a few times. I have been using Excel for several years, but just the basic features, picking up on a few of the suggested tips on the video along the way. I look forward to sharing this video and using the tips provided.
Wow, I'd been in a common apps technical class for a month now, let me tell you I learn a lot more today than all of those hours waiting to learn something new. Thank you very much.
Very useful and nicely explained. I have been using excel's lots of feature in my day to day work and still found this very good; learnt something new. Thanks a lot for your effort.
I've taken Excell before, but it's then probably 4 to 6 years ago. So this is very helpful in making my memory click, thank you so much for your tutorial!!♡♡♡
Excellent. I knew 24 out of 25! I would recommend the Subtotal Group feature. I love, love, love this feature. In the Data menu > Select Subtotal (from the Outline tab). If you sort your list, the subtotal can be grouped at each change of Use function Add Subtotal to .
Always wanted to learn more, big thank you for sharing your tips and tricks, will certainly keep learning from you. You make it easy. Once again a big thank you.
Hi sir, this is Ajay Masih(Ricky) from India i want to thank you for your Professional work videos which helped me in my office working. Thanks once again sir
Thank you a lot. Recently I'm working on a table which is very huge. In the process I often scroll up in order to check the order of the columns which I fond it very boring. Is there any way to have the selected line presented in front of me, like the alphabetical line of referencing, whenever I scroll down on my worksheet. Thank you in advance.
There is the "watch window" (under Formulas tab). Basically a pop-up that stays with the area you have selected. Alternatively, which I am using frequently on my second (smaller screen) click on "new window" (under View tab) to get another window of the same file. You can size and position it as you wish, also enabling you to see what you want.
This sounds like he wants to freeze his headers so that he doesn't have to scroll back up to see the column title. That was no matter what row he's on, he'll see the column labels. But maybe I'm reading it wrong.
@@willc202 Of course, freeze (the top rows) is also an option. as it has been presented. What is also useful (if you do not need the top most rows) is to get the split view. This gives you the the option to drag the split area freely as you need it as well as give you scroll bars to move to the area you need. Additionally I use frequently the group command on frozen cells: Often there is extra info above the header rows, which takes up space. With the grouping function you can temporarily hide that and get extra screen space 😃
I am watching the tips and I am in tip 14 but I have to say this is very fruitful clip indeed. I am really impressed about your calm presentation. please keep going. Othman from Libya
cool presentation, precise and informative. It was interesting to see the shorter versions of the functions I have used for the longest time. #21 is also my fave. I agree with Michael that it will be cool to have a downloadable file for us to practice. Hope you will consider. thanks and all the best
Great list of tricks! I like 21 but 22 and 25 were totally new to me. I'm not sure if others have noticed this, but on tip #8, VLOOKUP, be sure to use absolute address (tip 14) when you designate the address of the lookup table. Otherwise, data from the top rows will not be found after drag copying the function down.
