Subclass 309 Offshore Partner Visa!
Partner Visas are for those who are in committed relationships with Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents and intend spending the rest of their lives together. These visas are for committed couples who are either married, intend to marry very soon, or are in genuine established de facto relationships. These are NOT for those couples who are not ready for commitment yet.
Offshore Partner Visas are applied-for and processed outside of Australia, ie in the applicant's country of residence. These visas require the applicant and sponsor to be married or in an established de facto relationship. The applicant waits in their country of residence for processing to take place, and can then enter Australia and remain.
