- The plaintiff says she rented a room in her house to the defendant. She realized it was a huge mistake when she came home one day and the cops were there after the defendant threatened her, so she kicked her out. She’s suing for back rent. The defendant says the plaintiff belittled her, and it felt like living in a jail. She’s countersuing for stolen items.

Plaintiff is evil. She told the defendant her mom died to get away from her. That's just unconscionable.
The Plantiff will regret those comments at some point her life. My mom is in heaven and I could nit imagine someone saying that to me, especially several times.

Plaintiff has a Louisiana accent. They both don't seem to understand landlord/ tenant law. You can't only pay for the days you chose to be there, & you can't lease a room, but still keep your things in the closet still using the room when she's leasing the space & has possession of the room (to include the closet in the room).
Yeah, she needed to move out as nasty as it got with her trying to swipe the defendant's card and talking about her deceased mother... Those are fighting words, so no wonder she was ready to beat her azz when she went to get her things. The defendant should've pressed charges against the plaintiff for going through her mail trying to use her bank card.

My mom died when I was 1year old (I'm currently 29yrs old) . I've met tons of people who hate me and the thing is that none of them ever said something regarding my mom . In fact there's one of them , only one. It's my step mom who told me that I'm the one who killed my mother because she had cancer and had she not been pregnant with me , they would have detected it sooner and she might have survived. (Sorry for my broken English, it's not my mother tongue) .

Since these court shows are presented via zoom these days you can tell when some of the litigants are in hotel rooms, mainly like the defendant in this case, probably the plaintiff too , it’s hard to tell. But you can definitely tell that the defendant is in a hotel room.
