- I need a specific CNC machine to make some custom parts. I also plan on making an aluminum CNC mill, so this project will help me catch the major flaws of the design.
Parts:
-cheapest Nema 17 stepper motors
-24V 5A power supply
-20x80 aluminum extrusions
-specific parts will be available when I finish the project

CNC from scratch, homemade CNC, DIY CNC, cheap CNC, how to build a CNC machine
02:49 slight mistake , the stepper make 200 steps per revolution , 360degrees divided by 200 steps : 360/200 = 1.8 degree per step. Good luck with your project.
Konečně bastlíř z Čech, kterej používá inventor :-D Najz!
keep it up
I really like that u tell us about every step you make, But can u share the website that you got the aluminium bars from please ?
and keep it up man your videos are superb!!!
The website I ordered them from is terrible, I suggest you try Aliexpress (cheap, and 2 weeks delivery with "choice" items over $10), or just google "aluminum extrusions" and find a website from your country.
Very interesting! Though your math was a bit off. The steppers are 200steps/revolution.
Oh yeah, my bad.
Nice! If any custom PCBs/ 3DP may help? Would like to sponsor! (PCBWay zoey)
Thank you for the offer, I will definitely use some PCBs in the near future. You can contact me at tazerengineering@gmail.com.
How will you home the the axis?
just manual by hand?
Probably by hand, although I have some limit switches.
@@TazerEngineering I just've seen the BTT SKR Mini e3 v3 has sensorless homing. I will try that on my diy 3-axis cnc
