- In my "EAS Adventures" series, I fly out from a hub to an EAS community and back to the same hub where I started the journey.

In this ninth and VERY special episode of EAS Adventures, I fly to the EAS community of Cedar City, Utah located 221 miles south and slightly west of Salt Lake City. I take my FINAL trip on board Delta Air Lines' CRJ-200LR which is operated by SkyWest which Delta has since retired, with the last flight of it occurring on Dec. 1, 2023.

The Delta CRJ-200 was a big part of many Essential Air Service communities and brought many of them into the jet age and away from Mesaba Saab340s and SkyWest Embraer E120s. While most people will be glad they are gone, I will miss the Barbie Jet in Delta's fleet.

If you happen to be stuck at a hub, fly out and back to an EAS Airport, and you may just like where you end up

After this, there will be no more videos about flights on the Delta CRJ-200 from my channel... unless they decide to un-retire them at a later date like American did :) ... ENJOY!!
Flew this plane out of Detroit a couple years ago ago according to my logbook. Sad to watch the 200 go.
Well, at least the Delta CRJ-200s like this one have found a new life in Eleanoria as Air Eleanoria Xpress.

Yeah, unfortunately their time with Delta is over. But UA and AA still fly them 🙂
@@GerardiAviation Yeah I have been on those. I was trying to get all the aircraft in the Delta fleet. Oh well haha
